    I think they trvaeled to an unknown land so they could worship god in thier own way, build what they want, live how they want, to not be a slave, and be able to do much anything they wanted to do.

    Todays tools such as the following:
    chainsaws.
    drills.
    nailguns,
    and chainguns. These could help protection; construction.

    Some machines that would have hepled in that time are the heaters because thaen they could have lots of heat in winter.Also tools would help so they would not have to do everything by hand.
