This Blog is a place for us to publish our writing for our classmates, peers, and parents to enjoy our stories and make comments about what they enjoyed in our writing.  It is also a place for positive comments to be posted about how an author might improve their piece with your suggestions. 

Throughout the year, we will be spending a lot of time writing.  We will be writing stories from our own lives, fiction pieces, persuasive pieces, poetry and so much more.  I look forward to reading your work and being introduced to the wonderful ideas, characters, and places you want to tell me about through writing. 

I have posted my first writing piece for you to read and comment on. I wrote this piece in 1985 for 4th period English class. Please take a look and post a positive comment about what you liked and what you would do to make this a better piece of writing.  

Get thinking about all the stories you have stored up in your mind you may want to put on paper this year.
