  I like when we can work with partners because if your stuck on a question you could tell your partner if your teacher is working with a group then you could tell your partner what your question is and then they could tell you.

  i like it when we do center work with any partner and work on lots of cool things. i like it this way and want it to stay like this because it is easier for me to work with a partner.Also i think we should do centers more. I dont enjoy when we do the do nows in the morning.

  So far this year was wonderful.My favorite thing is the "Do Nows" because I like to write.I also like the centers because you can work independantly.When we'll get in the middle of the year it will be a blast!

  Some ideas is that we can go on reading plus more and on every Tuesday and Wednesday we can read more like 35 minutes for silent reading day because i love to read but i do not like to write.That is some ideas. :]

  A few things I think we should do more in class are go on field trips.I like going to new places and learnig new things.We should also write stories more.I think you should let us bring in notebooks so we could write fantasys and write about what we did for the day and then in the morning read the things we wrote to the class.These are just a few of the things I think we should do more in class.

  What i liked about the school year is that we do alot of litercy centers each and every day.what i also like is reading like what carlos said its better to read with the whole class then just by yourself so you understand it more.and plus it also helps you to keep focus.

  It looks like I have a class full of readers, which is AWESOME! I'm not sure which I like more - reading or writing. Kayla, my goal this year is to get you to like writing as much as you like to read :)

  What i like about this school year is working with partners i think its fun. I like to work with Alyssa because she is nice and shes a good friend to me. Next, i like the do now but some times it can be hard. Thats what i like about this year. :)

  Well, I like a lot of things about this school year! I've never used Reading Plus before, and I'm enjoying that. I like working with my groups, and I very much enjoy watching you guys as you improve with something, like answering open-ended questions. I'm having a great year (and I hope you are too!). :)

  I am very impressed with your responses about what you enjoy about this year. It is fun to read and write. Sometimes reading can take me to special or strange places. Sometimes writing can help me say what i want to say to people without being interrupted.
  The great thing about writing is that if you are speaking to someone they can walk away. If you are talking to them on the telephone they can hang up. But, if you write to a person, they have to read it. What a powerful tool. Continue having a great year. You never know when Mr. A is going to pop up on your blog and ask you a question or share some information with you.

  So far I think 5th grade lanquage arts class is exciting. My favorite thing about it is Technology. I would like to have technology every day. I also enjoy silent reading. Even though writing is not my favorite, I feel that I am learning to become a better writer.

  I have enjoyed language arts so far. The things I like in language arts are when we do different projects together and work with partners. I wish we could do more pages in the practice book. I even wish if we learn about conflict,plot,and resoulution. The things I don't really enjoy doing is do some pages in grammer. I have really enjoyed language arts and I am looking foward to enjoy it!!
