Bella meets Edward and at first she is not sure what is going on with him. The fact that she is not afraid when she should be seemed a bit unrealistic to me BUT that's my opinion. Bella and Edward become an item and their relationship involves suspense, tension, and puts many lives in danger.
I was intrigued by the way Stephenie Meyer described the look of the "vampires" in the sunlight. Have you read this book or seen the movie?
