Mrs. Brackmann and soon-to-be 6th graders: What a cool activity and blog! Hope everyone's plants are growing like crazy! I wonder which units you are using to measure :)
hello -i know this is my first time blogging but i wanted to know i have my plant in a pot and wanted to know if it would be able to keep it in there or if i should move it.
Welcome, Kayla I'm glad to hear that your plant is growing. You will need to put it in the ground in order to give it the space it will require as it grows bigger, produces flowers, and later get "fruit".
thank you very much! I also wanted to know when do i put the vegetable spikes in. When the leaves grow or when the friut sprouts.thanks very much! kayla
Kayla, I thought the directions on the spike said to put them in when the flowers appear. I really think it would be ok now. It is just a boost of nutrients to help the plants grow better. Good luck.
hello mrs. brackmann i just wanted to know if i could type up what i have been keeping track of. Why? because, i have been doing really bad hand writeing and just now noticed and to practice on my typing. and for the pictures i can just redraw them just let me know -kayla
and also thanks about the spikes i know i was a little late but my plant is know growing a lot faster now -kayla
Kayla, It's good to hear from you. I was wondering if any of the original gardeners were continuing to write up their observations. Sure! Put it together in whatever way works best for you. If you want to include photos, that is ok too. I am excited to see everyone's project when we return - it's only a few more weeks!
