    Mr. Renner on American Idol ... Rock on.

    Friends,
     
    In mid-January, the next season of American Idol will be upon us! Room 316 suggested today that I should try out! They heard me singing the notes to them in class. Margaret said she'd vote like 100 times for me, Rachael suggested Simon would compliment my singing, and Jayson dared to say that I might sound better than last year's winner, David Cook. Tommy said the show would get record ratings. Allison & Jules were so overcome with emotion, they were left speechless. Logan ran out of the room screaming. We don't know what that means...
     
    What say you? Is America ready for me?

    The truth about the Hut!

    What a journey it has been. While learning about peasants in the feudal system, we learned that Mr. Renner lived in a hut, too! Well, the truth is ................... I don't live in a hut!
    I live in a ____. Well, I'll save that story for another day . It may still involve some dancing bears. The story might continue.

    My 8th graders have moved on ... The 6th graders are now 7th graders. Congratulations! You've earned it.
