I think they chose this title for the film because throughout the whole movie she is struggling to find her husband. She is in a foreign country and her husband has been kidnapped by terrorists. Not once does she give up on him or decide it is too late until the end when they find the video. She says that the point of terrorists is to terrorize, but she is not terrorized. It shows how strong mentally she really is. She loves Danny so much that she is willing to go all the way until she finds him.
I think that they chose A Mighty Heart for the title of this movie because of Mariane. She lost her husband and it must have been really hard for her. Even though this happened she was still really strong afterwards. She did an interview about it and had her son. They went on to have their own lives so she basically really did have "a mighty heart" because she went on after Danny died.
The title of the film 'A Mighty Heart' is a reflection of Mariane's and Danny's individual characters. Danny had a mighty heart because he was couragous enough to travel to Pakistan. He was also very dedicated to his job and his wife. Mariane also had a mighty heart in dealing with the kidnapping and death of her husband. She was put through the worst leading up to his death and handled the situation the best she could.
I believe the title "A Mighty Heart" was chosen because of Marianne's strength throughout the film. It was obvious that she loved Daniel, but she did what was right for him through actions like smiling and being somewhat overly optimistic during the interviews and handing over valuable information to all sorts of people. Despite her pregnancy, she held herself together and was a role model for the rest of the team making her quite a mighty heart.
The mighty heart was a great name for this movie. You just have to look at it t right way. They were searching for Danny for a long time. They had no idea where he was or even if he was alive. But Mariane held up until the very end. She never just broke down and became overwhelmed by it. She kept at it and was going to do everything in her power to find her husband. To keep at something that serious for so long really does take a mighty heart.
i think they chose the title of this movie for two reasons. one being for mariane, throughout the whole movie she was determined to find her husband and return him safely back to their home. the entire time she did not give up and truely showed us that she cared and loved her husband. the other reason would be for danny. being kidnapped would scare anyone out of their mind. danny however, based on the video's we saw of him and the stories we heard, he seemed to be taking it like an adult and did his best not to be scared and hope for the best. he did his best until the very end.
I believe that they named te film A Mighty Heart because, from what I saw of the film, it showed the story of a woman who lost her husband due to terrorism. Instead of going into depression and shutting herself out from the world she faced the truth on what had happened to her. She learned from her experiance and benefitted from it. She taught other people about her story and moved away from it all with her son in order to keep him from seeing these dangers in everyday life.
I think the title of this film was chosen because Daniel's wife suffered a lot of grief dealing with his kidnapping. She was pregnant wit his baby, and then he got kidnapped so she would never see him again. That can take quite a toll on someone. Also because just losing anyone close to you, not only a spouse, is obviously very upsetting and she handeled with it well by getting re-married and realizing there was nothing she can do about losing Daniel.
i think that they chose the name for this film for a few reasons. i think the whole movie shows the love marianne has for danny. her love had to be strong (or mighty) because of all the stuff going on in her life while he was missing. i think it be called a mighty heart because of the love they had for each other and their child. i think it could also be called a mighty heart because of how marianne will have to act now that her husband is gone.
The title "A Mighty Heart" can possibly be interpreted several different ways. One could say that Marian Pearl had "a mighty heart" because she fought so hard to find her husband and then later bring his kidnappers/killers to justice. Daniel Pearl himself can be said to have "a mighty heart" for his strength during imprisonment by the terrorists. He seemingly kept his cool, as evident in the pictures of him smiling and the final video of him. You can even go as far to say that the team who helped find where Pearl was all had "a mighty heart": they were willingly to do anything to find him. The title describes the people in this film and the courage they had to elimnate radical extremeism.
The title of the film "A Mighty Heart" was chosen because it represents Mariane's strength throughout the ordeal. Even though her husband was missing she still sood strong and did not give up hope that he would survive. Her speech at the dinner table after Daniel's death is proof of her strength. She knew their goal was to create terror, but she was not going to let them suceed. She was going to mourn of course, but she would not let them have the reward of destroying her life. The fact she was able to view the video of his death is another proof of her strength.
The title can be a symbol of someone or something. Such as anjelinas character. She went through the entire search and investigations without giving up on him. Also, many of the people helping her in this investigation showed signs of having a "Mighty Heart."
There are many reasons why this title could have been chosen for this film. I beleive it was do to the emotional connection in te film. John was Mariane's husband so the love connection was very strong. It was that strong love connection or mighty heart that drove her desire to find him alive. It was what kept her going even in the darker times.
i think the reason they chose the title " A Mighty Heart" is for Marianne and for her husband. While held captive, he was not submissive. He never begged for his life because he did not want to give them that plesure. He stayed strong and therefore he had a "mighty heart". Marianne also had to deal with alot of thigs herslef. Her husband was being held captive but she didnt cry and wait for someone else to rescue him. She played the niggest role in his rescue and she had to hear all of the things that he went through. But she never gave up on finding him until the day that she knew he died. She fought with everything she had.
I think that the title of this film was chosen based on the courage and strength that was shown. When her husband died she did not just give up and cry, she learned from the experience and this was definetly a hard ting to do. I thought that this showed alot of courage and heart and the title reflects this.
I believe that the title "A Mighty Heart" is what it is because of danny was a jew and despite all the confusion and terror he still manged to stand up for what he believes in. He has in fact a mighty heart.
I think that this movie was titled A Mighty Heart for very good reason. First, and most obviously, Marianne had what I would call a mighty heart. The strength she had have going through the entire ordeal. While many people in this class thought that her melt down was funny. I thought that, that scene showed her immense strentgh and strong heart because she broke down and pulled herself together to ask what happened. I know if that were me, I wouldn't have been able to just snap out of it like that. The title also applies well to Dan Pearl. He was kidnapped and held hostage. Then he also had the bravery to try and escape. He stated that he was Jewish showing no fear for what they were going to do to him. He tried to escape several times also showing his lack of fear for what they were going to do this him. Just watching the movie, I could feel how much strength that it must have taken to keep a level head in both Marianne and Danny had to have.
It seems like it fits the description of the movie well because it shows at the end of the film how strong Mariane was when she found out her husband had been brutaly murdered. Near the end of the film she explained before everyone was about to eat how the terrorists didnt terrorize her or anyone else making it seem like she can be a strong person.
I believe the the title has many different meanings. The Mighty Heart may have been used as a reference to Angilina Jolies character because she needed to have a sort of tolerance to put up with the kidnapping. It may also be the mans heart because he showed no weakness to the terrorists. He was amazingly strong in the face of danger to not alarm his pregnant wife. It may also have many other meanings of which i did not find.
I believe they chose a mighty heart as the title because throughout the movie angelina jolee really had to keep it together not only for his family but for herself and her soon to be born child. when something like this happens usually people aren't very strong. but she had "a mighty heart" and stayed strong. she thought positive thoughts and believed he was coming home back to her and her baby. another reason i thought this title was chosen for the film is because she did so much and made such an effort to find him that really shows that she loved him alot.
