In scientology, people ascend or gain a higher Operating Thetan through auditing sessions. These sessions require the person in question to think of a bad memory, talk about this memory to the auditor, then have their pulse measured with a crude device known as an e-meter. The e-meter serves as a lie detector which the auditor uses to determine if the auditing session has been successful in clearing the subject's reactive mind.
Each auditing session costs money, with higher level auditing costing more.

I feel that this system is not only fraudulent to the user, but that spending money sends the wrong message when one's intent is to clear one's soul. Other religions have potential clerics and monks dedicate time, effort, and good deeds in order to become of higher rank in their order. With scientology, you just throw money at some dude with a lie detector and hope for the best. The person isn't truly sacrificing anything to attain a better soul. I'm not saying other religions are without corruption, it's just that sacrificing a small portion of your greater material possessions doesn't quite seem to cut the spiritual purity quota in my book.

The thetan, or spirit, is constantly running and worrying about things, and thinking about way too much. L. Ron Hubbard said that he can help people like this through auditing. Through this process, he would have people think of moments in their life that they want to forget forever, and through Dionetics, it would clear peoples minds and they would have a clean slate. Auditing is a one on one session to achieve the clean slate and go to the next level. Most people stopped this cycle at level 8 because it was very time consuming, sometimes taking 5-8 years to get to the next level, and was very costly, costing $250,000+ by the time level 8 was achieved.

I think this process is totally fake and people who do believe in it are victims of mind over matter. They want their spirit to be clean and are willing to do aything to achieve this, even if it takes years and all of their money.

In Scientology, one achieves the different levels by paying a certain amount of money and going through an auditing process. Where they try to clean the reactive mind by talking about painful experiences. The higher the level the more expensive it is to go through the process. Once one gets to level eight the mystery of the universe is reveled.

I personally find this rather odd. While cleansing the sub-conscience might be what that person wants, it seems ridiculous to have to pay such huge amounts of money to get this done. Where the participant really has no clue if he or she has been cleansed and yet they have to pay. It seems like a thing that wealthy want to do to flaunt the fact that they have money and they are trying to achieve the image of a perfection. Honestly, I don't really understand what the difference between the sessions and therapy sessions with a trained therapist. both cost money and both are trying to better the participant's thinking, in my opinion.

Basically, one achieves levels in Scientology by a process called auditing. Auditing is a one-on-one session with an approved "auditor" where the person who is being audited talks about their most traumatic and painful experience in life. A machine is attached to them, and this machine measures things like the person's pulse. This would give an idea as to if the person is lying or not. These auditing sessions are costly, and the higher the level, the more expensive it is for a session. There are fifteen levels in this process. By the eighth level, the person is sent on a cruise ship and audited there, where they will also learn the "secret of the universe."

This process of auditing claims to do a couple things. The main goal is to clear the reactive mind and help the Thetan (spirit) overall. Some other claimed "side-effects" are things like good looks, and intelligence. However, this auditing process is not supposed to be hindered by drugs or any kind, due to the affect they have on the mind, which can disrupt the overall sessions.

I personally think that this process is stupid and unrealistic. It seems to me like it would be very stressful paying all that money for an auditing session and then re-living the bad experiences of your life. The claimed outcomes of the auditing seem ridiculous, as well as the "secret to the universe." I think that this "religion" is becoming more based off of make-believe stories the more I read about it.

One achieves different levels with in scientology by auditing. Auditing is a one on one session which is when you re-expierence your most traumitizing events untill you forget them. There are fifteen levels in total but level eight is the most commonly reached. The goal of scientology is to make sure the spirit is cleansed and one must pay to reach these steps. It is estimated that one will pay $100,000 just to reach level eight. I believe that this process seems very irrational and is just a way of getting peoples money.

Members of Scientology would go through stages of auditing. The cost of each session would go up as you proceeded. The people chosen to audit the scientologists would make them relive painful experiences in their lives in order to be at complete peace with the reactive mind. This process would cleanse the theaton, the term used by Scientologists for souls. I think that this process is overly expensive. Throughout their life members of Scientology send hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to move up in rank. The process itself of "cleansing the soul" is also pretty bogus in my eyes. Making someone relive painful events and trying to make them not think about them by force, is only causing another painful memory.

In order to become a member of scientology, one must go through several stages. These stages are called auditing, and it is used to clean one's thetan(soul).

There are fifteen stages in the auditing process. However, the most reached level is eight. This level is the most important because it explains the secrect of the universe. This is a one on one process and is very costly.

I believe that this so called religion is only around to scam people and get thier money. I believe that one msut be naive to spend over 100,000 and 5-8 years in the process just to reach level 8 and hear a secrect.

Scientology is a religion that is very strict in believing in spirits and auditing. In Scientology, your spirit is also called your thetan, which should your mind should be free of thought. Auditing is a meeting that is supposed to cleasne or clear the mind, and it is done through a process called dionetics. In scientology this a system of eight levels that you can achieve to become part of this religion. But this is a vast amount of money that you need to put into scientology. You can advance into higher levels by paying the amount of money which ranges from 700 dollars to about 100,000 dollars. Also you need to fit the requirements which are rehablition and salvation of the human spirit. In my opinion, scientology is a good way to explain how spirits and free thoughts take place in the social world. I totally agree with the process of becoming the highest level in scientology, because it shows that you can open your mind to new ideas and thoughts.

One achieves different levels in this "religion" by 'buying' their way in pretty much and being audited by an E-meter/lie detector to define their mental state. I do believe that this is kind of like a church as in collecting money, but here they MAKE you pay.
What i think of Scientology is that i can't even believe anyone would have enough stupidity to pay to 'set their minds free'. I just can't understand how someone can believe that especially when your paying so much money for something so silly..how can you mind me free of worries, thats all mine would be on, is how much money i am spending. ha.

The way to achieve different levels within scientology is through a process called auditing. Auditing is defined as "spiritual counseling which is the central practice of Dianetics and Scientology". Auditing is used to clear a persons thetan, or soul. Through auditing, a series of questions will be asked to to help the person relieve unwanted memories. Through ones progress from auditing, their thetan will achieve different levels until they reach the highest level of an O.T, or operating thetan.

I personally do not believe in this process. I do not understand how a series of questions and some electronic machine can save your soul and make you a better person. I think that Scientology is just some type of cult someone created that came off as a religion in order for them to make money.

Scientologists believe that they must move up in "levels" in order to achieve the highest level of the religion, Operational Thetan. This level mean that your mind is clear and you can truly be happy. Scientologists achieve this level by undergoing a process called auditing. Auditing is a high-cost session where the members of scientology must relive painful experiences in order to clear their conscious mind.

I feel that this process is a huge money making scam that a struggling writer came up with. The auditing process is only one aspect of this religion's bizarre themes in which money is practically thrown at the church.

The only way to advance in the religion of Scientology is by a process known as auditing. Auditing is when a trained scientologist will ask the person who paid for the session a series of questions, which are meant to get rid of thoughts from the reactive mind. Auditing can cost a few hundred dollars per session, and can even cost up to ten thousand dollars. It is also believed that this process will make you more attractive, more youthful, more intelligent, and can even cure medical conditions. I don't think this process is beneficial because it is very expensive and it would not be able to help people the way scientologists claim, such as curing diseases and other medical conditions.

When a person is involved in scientology the only way he or she could move up to new levels within the religion is through auditing. Auditing is the process of removing the reactive mind by reliving painful memories. The reactive mind is what keeps us from being happy. The removal of the reactive mind is the goal from the book called Dianetics written by L Ron Hubbard, who was the founder of this religion. It is believed that auditing can make you better looking, make you more intelligent, and save your soul (Thetan). Auditing becomes very costly, and some sessions cost up to $9,000. However, the only way to move up the religion is to audit. My opinion about auditing is it seems like a scam. People are paying tons of money to move up in the religion. I know other churches may have people pay, but not rediculous amounts. All churches need some sort of money to keep functioning, but the amount of money that scientology requires seems crazy.

Different levels of Sociology are achieved through a process called Auditing. Auditing is when a member(Scientologist) meets with another selected Scientologist (Auditor). The member will talk to the auditor about personal issues while being hooked up to what seems like a machine that will cause a shock, but could really just be somewhat of a lie-detector. These meetings cost a rather large sum of money EACH.
I feel that it is unnecessary to share information regarding your personal life with people you can't choose. To put someone into a room and scare them into telling their most painful moments is immoral; therefore, I believe that Auditing is immoral and an overall scam.

Advancement in Scientology is based on the concept of "auditing," in which an individual removes the subconscious- or reactive- mind in order to achieve a state of true happiness. Through auditing sessions, known as intensives, Scientologists move up in the "church" and recieve new information. i believe that the issue with this practice- well, the main issue anyway- is that it is basically a convoluted scheme to milk money out of members. Each session must be bought in time blocks ranging from twelve hours to several days, depending on the level being audited. These sessions are very expensive, often several thousand dollars. (Is this why celebrities make up so much of the membership?) Sometimes, Scientologists pay for audits through service to the church, a subtle method of ensuring that members devote a lot of time and energy to the Church. Obviously, it is money well spent, as it clearly goes toward yachts, extravagant centers, and ardent followers who try to impress their beliefs on the public. I hope I don't offend anyone, but the whole operation just seems like a pocket-lining scam to me.

In Scientology, there are several levels of development, each of which requires a process known as auditing. For a fee ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars, an auditing session will be granted to one who seeks to help clear their mind by reliving traumatic experiences from the past. Scientologists believe that this will prove to cleanse the thetan, or soul, which is the primary goal of Scientology. Some of the attributes of a cleansed thetan include more intelligence and more physical beauty, which might lead people to take auditing sessions, especially among celebrities who can afford the costly auditing process. What the actual auditing session involves is a one-on-one meeting between the person undergoing the auditing and an approved examiner who asks the subject to reveal their painful memories. All the while, a lie detector measures the blood pressure of the individual who is being audited, which the proctor could check to prove if the person is being honest or not. If, for any reason, the proctor thinks that the subject is not ready to advance to the next stage of auditing, he could hold that person back until he feels the time is right (or if he just wants to suck money out from them). That is pretty much what an auditing session is all about.

As for my personal opinion, this just screams out "wrong!" The way auditing sessions are set up allow the auditor to manipulate the individual seeking to reach higher levels of enlightenment. They can do exactly what the founder of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard, was looking for: An easy way to make money. They seem to be taking advantage of people, when most other religions (even the Roman Catholic faith, which requires monetary donations to help keep parishes running) do not even attempt to do such a thing. It is a very blatant and straightforward plot that they employ to deceive people into losing thousands of dollars. I could go on and on about the lack of morals in this institution, but I think that I have already typed enough.

Founded by L Ron Hubbard, scientology has many different levels. When you first get involved in the religion you start off paying a min amount of around 700 to 900 dollars for sessions called auditing sessions which are basically a unique form of personal counseling where you cleans your soul to perfect it. all the levels go one after another and the higher up you are with in the auditing levels the better you are as a person and the more money your also paying for each session. your goal as a scientologist is to cleans the theta (soul) to perfection and then as a human you get to know the secrets to the "world" and "humanity". you'll then sit in a locked room and read the most confidential things about the "religion" (xenu ex.). your only aloud to know such things when your soul is fully cleansed because its believed that you cant fully grasp the ideas behind the secretes until your soul is completely clean. this is ridiculous. I don't buy into paying for something to believe in just to say you belong to something "special" or "unique". i don't believe in scientology so i obviously don't believe in the process of it.

One achieves different levels through a process called auditing. Which is where an Auditor takes a person into a one on one session and they go and relive their traumatic or painful memories to free their soul and use a e-meter kinda like a lie detector to see how in depth this person is going. These are only available to the people who want to pay the money for them and that could get very expensive. I think this is a load of "bull" just a money scheme and these people get very rich off it. I mean I could sit there and be like how do you feel about this and make up lies just to get more money out of the people. This is kind of a very big scam.

One acheieves different levels within the "religion" of scientology a treatment called auditing. Auditing removes the reactive, subconcious mind that stores all difficult memories for the members. It claims that it saves the thetan of a person which i personally believe is far fetched. I don't think sitting in intensives with e-meters evaluating mental states of people will solve all problems for thousands of dollars. After these expensive treatments, if the reactive mind is cleared, members become operating thetans that gain access to "Secrets of the Universe" which to me is a hoax. It makes no sense to me how some "god" incorporated income tax, or 3D movies into his capture because he killed everyone and stole their souls.

In order to advance in levels in Scientology, you must pay the "church" good sums of money to attend an auditing session. During these sessions the auditer encourages you to relive a mentally traumatic experience in your life. By reliving this experience you can overcome it and clear your reactive mind. When your mind has been cleansed enough you may advance to the next level in Scientology. The more you cleanse your mind the more perfect you become both mentally and physically.
In my personal opinion this entire process is a scam. The only way for you to better yourself, in any way according to Scientology, is to pay the Church of Scientology vast sums of money. Not only do they get your money but they also establish the standards for your advancement. If they wanted more money they could just not pass you on to the next level and make you pay for the session over and over again and while many may say this is similar to the Catholic tradition of giving money at mass it is not. When you go to a Catholic mass you give according to your means not a preset price and no one determines if your good enough to be saved. By paying the Catholic Church you assure that you have a place to worship. The way Scientology does it is similar to paying a therapist only the prices are much higher just so you can learn the "secret" of the universe.

in the "religion" of scientology in order for you to move up in the rankings you have to go through audits. in other words this is a one on one paid meeting in which you and an auditor sit together adn you relive the painful and troubling experiances in your life. this process is supposed to cleanse the body and mind in order for your thetan to be clear. also they will hook you up to an E-Meter which is basically just a lie detector. in order for you to pass the level you must pass the E-Meter test. now in my opinion it would be very easy for them to lie and say you failed in order to get more money. personally i do not think this is a realistic practice. the only thing they are really tring to do is get your money and make you think that you are getting cleansed by reliving these events.

In the "religion" scientology one achieves different levels by basically paying money. The higher the levels the more money it is going to cost you to "cleanse your spirt" or thetan as they call it, through these meetings called auditing. Eventually if you make it to one the highest levels they will reveal the "secret of the universe" to you for a costy price. In my opinion i think scientology is basically a scam. From the origin of the "religion" to the secret of the universe. I see this more as an organization and they are free to do whatever they want. However, its hard to beielve that scientology can spread so much throughout the world. I dont know how poeple can beileve that by reaching these stages they can get better looks, intelligance, and cure diseases. The most outragous thing about it all is that you have to pay so much to do so.

To advance in the levels of scientology, an individual needed to go through an expensive process called auditing. The whole point of auditing was to free oneself from the influences of the reactive mind/subconscious. During auditing, the individual would relive his/her experiences to get rid of these memories because scientologists believed this prevented one from being happy. Also, they believed that auditing can cure someone from being spirtually "blinded" to having joy of spirtual existence. Once the person goes through Introductory sessions, he/she can advance to the Advanced sessions and earn higher spirtual levels. In my own opinion, I think that the claimed results from auditing are false. Curing illnesses from such a process is unthinkable and cannot possibly happen. I think its just a way of obtaining money from people. It is all far-fetched and it is something I would not become a part of.

Scientology seems to be based off of 15 levels. the highest one person has ever reached is 8. To reach higher levels one must clear their reactive mind or subconscious. This practice is called dianetics and the process in which this happens is auditing. A person would have a one on one meeting with an auditor and they would delve into the deepest thoughts of a person until they were all cleared out. Also along with auditing, a person who wants to move up higher on the Scientology levels must pay money. To reach level 8 it would cost about $100,000. I believe that this "practice" of Scientology could be seen as a form of relaxation but not as a religion or a cult. i think it is ridiculous that people have to pay that much money for their beliefs. It seems to me that this is more of a Hollywood relaxation process.

First off I would like to say that Scientology is in no way a religion. But for one to acheive the next level of this "religion" he/she must complete what is called an auditing session. An auditing session is a meeting with an approved person to vent about your hardships in life. You talk about very painful times in your life in the hopes of clearing your sub conscious. In order to get into an auditing session you must first pay, large amounts of money as a matter of fact. The first session can be maybe $700, but as you get higher in levels the price goes up to even $100,000. There are 15 levels, but only 8 have ever been conquered. In auditing sessions they have what is called an E-Meter which is basically a device that works like a lie detector and measures your pulse. They can very easily lie and tell you that you did not pass the auditing session so you would have to pay again to take it, which is wrong in every aspect. I think that the whole scientology view is crazy and wrong. Whiping away the sub concsious of a human being is simply not human and not possible. As humans it is natural to strive, have worries and want to succeed. And with our sub concsoius it helps us, because it pushes us to these things while living our everyday lives. And also, to pay such great deals of money to do something religious is rediculous. I don't pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to go to confession, nor should anyone who beleives that it will help them and it is what God or Xenu or whatever religious leader they beleive in wants. So I would have to disagree with not only the entire auditing process, but the whole aspect of scientology all together.

From what I gathered a person advances to the next level once the auditor feels the person has overcome that certain painful and traumatic memory. The auditors hook the individual up to a lie detector to see the progress. However a problem with this is that the auditor can keep the individual in a certain level for an extended period of time which could become costly and not let the individual advance. I think this whole idea is shocking to me. To me it seems like this is more of a way to purify the body and more of confessions. I say that because it says that the individual is reminded or a painful memory and they are trying to release it from their body to become pure. The only way they think they can do this is by progressing onto the next level? I also don’t think it makes sense that someone would have to pay up to $100,000 to cleanse their body.

Scientology, founded by L. Ron Hubbard, expresses a... different... way to look at the afterlife. I think the most important part of "moving on to the next level" in this "religion" is the concept of auditing. Auditing is a one-on-one session to cleanse a persons Thetan (spirit). Getting to the next level of this "religion" doesn't only require to be at peace with one's own subconscience, but it also requires a lot and lot of money. Heavy donations to the organization must be surrrendered to even attend an auditing session. By the time a person could reach the eighth level, I think they have spent anywhere between $100,000 and $250,000. With fifteen levels, it's understood if anyone could end up in the bread lines at these costs. Scientology, one of the fastest growing religions in the U.S. is spreading rapidly all over the globe. Although scientology goes to say that it is not a religion, it seems an aweful lot like one very unique to me.
To go to the next level, the spirit needed to be cleansed, or cleared. The spirit, better known as the Thetan in this scientology jargon, would be cleansed as the person went to the auditings.
My own opinion on this "religion", I think is very baised. Sitting in class listening, there was one thing that really bugged me about the way this seemed to run. The fact that so much money had to be spent in order to better oneself spiritually was as surprising to me as it was kind of offending. Now, I understand that when people go to church, for example, they are expected to put a donation into the collection basket. What gets me would be the person putting in a check for $100,000. Like that ever happens (that I know of). It almost seems that this "religion" is a was to make a lot of money. Those are just some of my thoughts.

The process to achieve a clear mind or cleanse your thetan. This process is called auditing, in this process one must first pay a large sum of money to a qualified auditor, whom is approved by the church of Scientology. Once one has paid a certain sum of money to the auditor they are given a test in which they are hooked up to an "E-meter". One can either pass or fail because they may have been lying or they may have not gone in depth enough. This process will continue to grow more expensive as one tries to conquer higher levels. To achieve a truly free mind one must complete all 15 levels of this process. No one on record to my knowledge has ever gotten past level eight according to scientologists. level eight costs ~$100,000 alone. The total amount of money spent to get from level one to level eight is ~$250,000. The process in which this is this is done seems to be just another way for mainstream "religion" to get every penny out of you that they possibly can and I do not agree with it in the least. It would seem that Scientology is just out to get people's money, and who is all of that money going to anyways??

In order to move up in status within the church of scientology one must partake in auditing sessions. These can cost anywhere from 750 to 10,000 dollars, and are meant to cleanse the reactive mind (subconscious), which is what prevents people from being happy. They use the E-meter, which apparently allows them to evaluate the auditee's mental state and to read their thoughts. According to L Ron Hubbard, these sessions could make one better looking, more intelligent, cure diseases, and save one's soul, not to mention moving up within the "religion".
I think auditing is largely a fund raising process, and there is no reason for sessions to cost such an outrageous amount of money. Also, I think it is their way of ensuring loyalty and devotion to the church. Vulnerable people are convinced that this will better them and allow them to be happy, and so they become involved. They become almost dependent on them, and in order to pay for sessions they devote their lives to the church. It is incredible to me that people believe that auditing will have such a profound impact on their lives, but they do, and the church of Scientology exploits this in order to ensure members' monetary and spiritual devotion.

A person achieves different levels in scientology by doing a few things. First, the person must pay a large amount of money to attend the auditing sessions. It seems like the person passes each session when the auditor decides the person has overcome the traumatic experience. The person much achieve each level, paying for the next ones also, by being approved by the certified auditor. The person might have to be "shocked" while discussing their traumatic experience or go on the scientology ship.
Personally, I think this is a silly idea. It seems like the most important part is to earn money. I think the idea of clearing the soul is a good one. But the process just isn't right. I do not think the auditors or scientologists truly care if people overcome their experiences and clear their soul. I think they only care about collecting money.

In Scientology, one progresses up through each level by a process known as auditing. Auditing involves a series of meetings in which one's mind is cleared and exposed to information regarding Scientology. A basic session can cost about $750 and much higher sessions cost about $8000 or $9000. Once one reaches a far enough level, they learn the "story of the universe" after spending thousands and thousands of dollars on auditing. I think that spending that much money on a so called "religion" is ridiculous and people who agree to pay that much money are probably brain washed. I dont think any religion should require money if religions are meant to be spiritual but if money is spent, it should be very little.

L Ron Hubbard was the first to come up with the idea of scientology through a book. scientology has a lot of different levels involved in the religion. When you first get started in the religion, you start off paying a min amount of around 700 dollars for session called an auditing session. these sessions are where, basically personal counseling takes place where you cleans your soul to perfect it. all the levels are in order one after another and the higher up you are with in the auditing levels and the religion the better you are as a person and your then looked at as a better human being in all. the higher up you become in scientology the more money your also paying for each auditing. your overall final goal as a scientologist is to cleans the soul to perfection so then you as a human being can get to know the secrets to the "scientology religion". you then sit in a room which is locked and you read the most confidential and secrete things about xenu and the religion. only when you cleanse your soul fully are you aloud to know about where scientology comes from and why all the money and time you put into knowing a religion is soposto pay off. your only aloud to know these things when your soul is fully clean because its thought that you cant fully understand the ideas behind the secretes until your soul is completely clean. I think that scientology is without a doubt a cult and that it is just a big conspiracy for money.

In Scientology one has to go through the process called "auditing". It consists of reliving painful experiences to remove one's "reactive mind". It is very costly and time consuming. An auditing session can take one hours or even days. It uses a device known as the "e-meter," which is similar to a lie detector that can apparently make the auditor "see your thoughts." The only way for one to achieve a new level of status in Scientology is to go through a large amount of this auditing process. Auditing costs about $750 for an introductory package to 8-9 grand for a advanced session. One must also spend money on pricey books, and other things that are required reading. It can take decades and thousands upon thousands of dollars for one to reach the top status in Scientology.

When I did my crash presentation on this, there were certain things I honestly had to double check with a number of sources. I found it to be so ridiculous that it cost that much money, I at first thought it was an exaggeration. I don't find Scientology to even be a religion. I feel it also asks so much of the Scientologists. I really feel that this is all unbelievable and ludicrous.

In Scientology, one must save their soul, ot thetan, through auditing. In these auditing sessions, you relive painful moments in yourlife, thereby cleansing yoursubconscious mind. The subconscious or reactive mind prevents us from being happy, so by cleansing it you can move up in the religion. These sessions cost thpusands of dollars when you get into the highest levels, but by then people are commited to the religion and are willing to pay. I think this process makes sense, but the price seems a little crazy. For any religion, you are expected to pay to keep the church open, but paying hundreds of tousands of dollars to achieve operational thetan seems a little ridiculous.

To become a Scientologist one must cleanse their mind. Auditors help cleanse the person's thetan through a process called auditing. At auditing sessions one must be reminded of a painful or traumatic experience in their lifetime. There are different levels of auditing. Each one costs a great bit of money. By the eighth level a person can be paying up to $100,000. One must complete a level in full before moving on to the next one. To complete a meter you must go in to great depths when thinking about or discussing your traumatic experience. Once the eighth level is reached the "secret of the universe" is reavealed.
I think the process is ridiculous. A person is pretty much throwing away tons of cash just to be reminded of the bad things that happened in their life. Also I think the people who do choose to spend that much money on Scientology are being scammed. Scientology and the whole auditing process is also too far-fetched to be believable.

To the wandering soul, Scientology presents the idea that you can "buy" a clear mind. One pays a certain amount of money to clear their mind and spirit (thetan). In one on one sessions, a person relives their suffereings until they come to grips with them and can clear it from their mind. Once they move past one thing that is holding them back, they can move up to a higher levelin these auditing sessions. Each level costs another installment of money. The common level that is reached is 8, however there are 15 levels. Now let's talk about how much i disagree with this whole idea. A person who is desperately looking for answers and trying to sort themselves out is probably willing to pay any sort of money to find what they're looking for. Scientology is painfully aware of this concept. A person's deepest desires to find what life is about is not something to be toyed with or to make profit from. Snd also, something as complex as human understanding should not be put into categories or levels! We should not be working towards the level that everyone is as well. In my opinion, we are to be moving toward becoming a better self; at our own pace and in our own ways. As a young person, on my own search for "self," i think finding our beliefs is perhaps the most important decision we'll make throughout life. So it is not something so simple that can be worked out in a series of meetings with a total stranger. I just feel like scientology disrespects people as individuals. They see us as race cars just moving to the finish line and putting more money in their pocket.

To achieve different levels of what you might call qualification in the religion scientology you basically pay your way. As you increase in levels the price goes up. To achieve the first level you must pay around 700 dollars and by the time you reach the eigth level you have already spent somewhere around 100,000 dollars. Now as far as any religion goes you are always asked to donate money. This money goes back to the church or for needs of the church but there is no set price you give what you can or what you want to give. As far as scientology there are set prices for things that are given to you that arent even proven to be true or work. Once again all religions are based on faith so if its what you believe in then why not spend the price. Personally i believe it is far to much money to be spending on something that is not fool proof. I think a donation is a much more sufficent way to go about things than setting a set price. Its almost like your buying your way into this so called religion.

In scientology, one can acheive different levels by auditing. Auditing is the process of clearing your reactive mind through one on one sessions. Each level of auditing has a different expense and can get very pricey.

I think that from what we learned that this cult is easy to fall into because there are no rules to follow it is just clearing your mind and sounds very realxing. However, i personally believe it is a waste of money and time. To get from OT to OT VIII it takes 5-8 years and you spend a lot of money. I think there are other ways for people to get a clear mind without joining this cult and having to spend so much money to obtain that.

In scientology one gets higher in levels through the process of auditing. Auditing is a one on one session where the auditor makes you relive a moment in your life that is sensitive to you. They want you to cleanse your mind and free your thetan "the soul". The auditor is the one who decides whether you thetan was "cleansed" enough to move to the next level. Now each level has a certain cost and the auditor can lie about if you passed or not to get more money from you. The purpose is to reach higher levels to become more free.

I believe that it is a religion but a different religion. It isn't very far off from other religions where that you have to pay someone something. Although it is rather excesive, they do have established churches all over the world and have many followers. And no one is killing themselves like heavens gate. They are striving for the meaning of the universe (although from class it was very unreasonable and stupid) they do have reasonable beliefs generally speaking.

In order to achieve different levels in scientology they must go through a process called auditing. Scientology is based off of 15 levels. The highest level most have achieved is level eight. In order to reach higher levels one must clear their reactive mind or subconscious this is called auditing.

To clear their mind they must sit with an auditor and tell them their deepest thoughts until it is cleared out. Once they are cleared they can move on to different levels. In order to reach higher levels you must pay up to $100,000.

I believe that scientology is just a way for them to make money. They are just trying to make people believe things so that way they can recieve more money.

Scientology is a word i've heard over and over again without knowing the meaning to it. I thought it was the study of science. From what I've learned, scientology is a religion that strictly focuses on clearing your mind and saving your soul. Scientology is believed to change your life for the better. The way to move up in this religion and hear the story of Xenu is through auditing. Scientologists use a device called an "E-meter" which is like a lie detector test used to determine if the person being interviewed is in a right state of mind. I feel that this religion is insane based on the stories I've heard about it. Cleansing your soul could give you a better appearance or more youthful look based on the lack of stress, but it is nothing significant. What I find extremely strange is the fact that medication is refused by scientologists. According to the celebrity gossip in this world, John Travolta's son Jet refused his medication being a member of scientology resulting in death. I have never judged anyone based on religion, race, or pretty much any beliefs, but this "religion" seems crazy and unethical to me.

It takes alot of time and money to acheive different levels in scientology. It takes years and about $250,000 to comlpete level 8. Each level consists of something the person must do. OT I consists of solo - auditing, OT II consists of a series of processes directed at whole track implant materials dealing with dichotomies and binary thinking, OT III consists of locating and auditing the thetan, OT IV deals with mocking-up and unmocking implants in order to prevent future implanting, OT V is a series of drills directed at handling relationships, OT VI consists of drills dealing with emotions, OT VII has training steps toward intentions, and OT VIII deals with ridding further body thetans.

Personally i think this is just another way for people to throw away money and think that they have peace of mind when they really dont. They are just being blinded by "auditing" toward the real world. Scientology might help people forget about their problems but it does no help in solving and fixing those problems.

Scientology members would go through stages of auditing witch would cost of each session would go up as you proceeded. The people chosen to audit the scientologists would make them relive painful experiences in their lives in order to be at complete peace with the reactive mind. This process would cleanse the theaton, the term used by Scientologists for souls. This is also to belived that you look younger and become smarter. I think this is all crazy stuff. The amount of money that you have to pay is crazy so that someone can cleanse there mind. They obviously just want your money like and other religion so you can feel good about your self. I think you should belive what you want for free and whatever makes you feel good about yourself do it. Your religon shouldnt revolve around money becouse then I think then it is a club.

Scientologist achieve and accelerate to different levels through many different processes. Many that follow this religion believe that you must clear the mind, body, and soul. The soul is the most important object to purify. Scientologist believe that one must repeat events that may of inflicted pain on them in the past in order for them to move on and accelerate in the religion. If you are involved in this religion there is a price to pay, literally. Individuals may waste thousands of dollars on this religion. why do they do this, mainly because they are brainwashed to believe that in order to be accepted you must pay the church regularly to participate in events like trips and to eventually learn "the secret of the universe." so basically to achieve greatness in this religion you must clean the mind and body through auditing, have complete dedication and devotion, and last but not least you must pay up.
My opinon on the theory of Scientology is that it is completely idiotic. i mean for a grown adult to believe that money can lead to happiness, and that a piece of plastic can make you pure is obviously not using thier head. I could go on about how crazy i think this religion is but i mean the things that seem normal to us may seem strange to others aka i have absolutely no room to talk. In my eyes i see it as a scam and a joke but as long as they arent pushing this religion onto others like myself then i say let it be.

The individual most successfully complete multiple levels of "Cleansing". This is attained by auditing, which is a process by which there is a one on one session. This session is somewhat like a therapy session. By competing a session one will come closer to attaining spiritual freedom. The problem with this process is that is very expensive. The process is strange in that a person is hooked up to a machine to help the auditor dtermine when the person is lying,or upset. In addition the auditor is just someone who is accredited by the leader of scientology to carry out this process.

Scientology is baised on cleansing the "thetan" or spirt. this is done by auditing, which is a process of a one on one session with an auditing counclor who sits down with you on a fancy boat while you are hooked up to an E-meter which checks to see if you are completing auditing and no lieing about anything. the whole point of this session is to clear your subcouniour mind. But in order to make it to any level you must pay alot of money for anything you do, starting at $700 and by the time you get to level eight you could be spending up to $100,000 just "free" themselves.

In scientology, you must attend auditing sessions to move on to the next "level". You sit down with an approved auditor, and tell them your most painful experience. After you pay them a lot of money and they approve you, you move on and do the same thing all over again. I think this is ridiculous. You may as well just go to a psychologist.

The way an individual progresses through different levels of status within sociology depends on how cleansed your Thetan, or soul, is. This is achieved through a process called auditing. A device known as an E-Meter is used for this, and it is very expensive. The purpose of this auditing is so the individual can relieve painful memories. It is very similar to a therapy session. The more an individual uses this auditing, the more their subconscious mind becomes clear, which is the goal of Scientologists. In theory, this process does sound somewhat useful. I believe that clearing your reactive mind does actually cleanse your soul. Simultaneously, this process does seem like a money scam by the leaders of Scientology due to the outrageous prices and the requirement of it in order to take part in this strange cult.

You attain different levels by the amouth of sessions you complete. There are 15 sessions and no1 has ever ben to the 15th. The sessions revolve around you clearing your thetan so you can welcome in the beliefs without any second thoughts. It was said it cured dieses and made you better looking. Also this was very very expensive

To achive new levels in scientology, one must go through auditing sessions. Auditing sessions are in a way like a therapy session. The goal is to clear the persons reactive mind. The auditor will ask an individule to bring up a painfull memory and discuss it. while you are responding you are hooked up to an e-meter, which is a device somwhat like a lie dector test accept it sends shocks. if you are sucussfull and the auditor passes you, you move on to the next level. As you reach higher levels the price for the auditing sessions becomes more expensive. I think this process is silly and fake. It seems that all they want is an easy way to make money, and there are people out there who are completely willing to spend there money.
