We all survived the first day of school!  It was a long day for the kids, but they were troopers and worked hard all day.  We actually accomplished quite a bit!  We read a story about frogs and then responded to it by creating our own frogs.  Every child completed the frog correctly.  What a great bunch of listeners we have this year.  We also did some handwriting, played a math game, and worked on our first writing assignment.
Tomorrow, please send your child to school with a smock if you have one.  It is art day.  I do have some extras in case that is a problem.   It was nice to meet many of you and look forward to meeting the rest of you in the weeks to come!
Have a great night!

Trystan had a rough start this morning and came home happy and brave to tackle the nervousness of first grade! Thank you for your patience with him! I look forward to meeting you as well. Trystan thinks you are very, very nice!Smile

What an amazing website! Thank you so much for all the time you've invested in it! I love that I can look up spelling words (and play spelling word games) or review stories with Justin before the test. Outstanding!
