7th ELA classes completed a vocabulary exercise before reviewing reflexive and intensive pronouns as we approach Wednesday's Pronoun/Words to Go Test. We then were introduced to "Monsters Are Due on Maple Street," a Twilight Zone teleplay by Rod Serling that is in our literature books. Students were assigned roles to read when we begin the teleplay in class either tomorrow or Thursday. GATE classes viewed a video on "The Lottery." We then analyzed, compared and contrasted, and evaluated "The Lottery." We took a short true-false quiz on the story and received some information about the Socratic Seminar tomorrow.
