7th classes learned a new word: hoard which means "to accumulate for future use; stockpile." Students learned the various types of leads for informative articles. We briefly reviewed MLA citation and how to correctly cite a source from a website. Students then were given time to cite their newspaper articles, to create imaginative leads to their articles, and continue working on the rough draft of their newspaper articles. GATE students took the Word Within the Word quiz for List #12. They were then given time to research and analyze their individual historic speeches.
