Parents, Show your child how to make letters the "Fundations" way. On Kindergarten lined paper, always start on the "sky line" which is the top line, or the "plane line" which is the middle dotted line. Letter writing should always start on these two lines, not pushing up. For example... the letter "t" should start at the top of the line and go down to the grass line (the bottom heavy line), pick up the pencil and cross the "t" on the plane line ( the dotted line) from left to right. There is a sequence to the letters to build on their foundation. A packet of information will be given out on "Meet the Teacher" Night to show you how you can help your child with printing and making letters correctly. It's good to go ahead and let your child see their name with a Capital letter at the beginning and the rest lowercase. This will be the way they will be seeing it at school. Look me up at registration if you have any questions! Thanks!!!Ms. Farris
