  Ms.maybaum,I love this book flipped. It is a classic comedy & a little sad when juilana crys. I think this is a wonderful book that you choose for your class.It is a book I think brushy creek sould read. i Mabey you sould tell Mr.ryan this book.

  The Eggs-Chapter 6, After the sycamore tree was cut down, sadly Champ died :(, when champ died, Julia had a trip down momemory lane about Champ since he died, she was remember the time when she got him and how it went. During hte memory Julia was remember hre 5th grade science fair, (thats what this chapter is mainkly about) she didnt think of a project yet...but then a teacher came, Mrs.Brubeck gave Julia and idea for a preoject. Her idea was rasing eggs filled with chicks, Julia did not know how to raise chicks, but then her dad said he will help her to know how to raise chicks. Mrs Brubeck gave her a book to read on how to raise Chicks, Julia spend all night learning how to raise chicks, because hse was so worried. later on her dad tought her about what a hygrometer is, a hydrometer is somthing you do to take a look inside the egg to see if anything is werong with the chicken, kinda like an x-ray. When julia came so exited about this she started naming the chicks and all sorts of things. Later a egg hatch before julia went to school, she argued with her dad she didnt want to go to school she wants to see all the chicks hatch, so then mom sugested that she brings the incubator to school. After all the chicks hatch, Julia wanted to raise the chiks in her backyard so she ask her teacher, Mrs. Brubeck. when they hatched into big chikens they started laying eggs, TONS of eggs. the chickens layed too much eggs so Julia family ate them. Julia;s neighbor, Nrs. Stueby ask if they can send some eggs over if they have any extras. Later on Julia gave them to borth of her neighbors, Mrs.Stueby and Mrs. Helms 3 doors down. They payed her family 2$ a dozen, one day when she was sending eggs she saw Bryce <3, She kept on sending eggs to all of her neighbors including Bryce <3, But soon! she found out that Bryce was throwing her eggs away because her backyard was so filthy and his mom thought they were posininous! Then bryce tryed to explain but her only made things worse.

  In chapter 6 Juli talks about how champ died.The next day Juli doesn't have a science project for the science fair.Mrs.Brubeck helps Juli on the science project and gives her chicks for the science fair.She gets her brother's edvice.Juli does what her brother
  said to do and she did charts,how much each egg weighed.After days of doing the things her brother said one egg started to hatch.She told Mrs.Brubeck about the egg.Then after some time the chicks grew and layed eggs.Her mother said to give the eggs to other people.Juli did the thing her mother said to do.She gave the eggs to Bryce.She finds out that Bryce throws the eggs away.Bryce does not want her to feel bad so he tells her about the eggs.

  Mrs.Maybaum i love book FLIPPED IS A REALLY A FUNNY BOOK and i like reading the book.Is there going to be a chiken in the book? because i like chickens they are really little when they are just born.and bryce is really un nice. And i feel bad for juil because her best friend is a tree and the tree got cut down and bryce is mean to her.

  dear mrs. maybaum the book flipped is totly lol chapter 6 is sad here's my sumarry when her dog dies its kind of sad then brce mand juil so embrassed and sad she was tring to be a good neibor he could of just told her and then he tries to aploges but his grand farther did that so now he is realy mad that is inter resting that her teacher came up with the egg porject and how champ came in to there family

  The Book Flipped is very good, it has alot of like, drama in it and romance, this book isn't the type i read but once I give it a try it turns out to be pretty good.
  
  Ps: when i read this page i was scrolling down i saw how much i wrote, and im kinda sorry for that, when i finished typing Rythem said " You know your only to suppose to type 4-5 sentences" so I am kinda ashamed. :\

  Don't feel ashamed for writing so much. I was very impressed with the details you shared. As you can see from the comments above, many people have made a connection to this book. You also have made a good connection and were excited to write about it. I commend that! It's what good readers do.

  chapter six is about juli's side her dog champ died and she has chickens that lay eggs.She dilivers the eggs to neighboors for two dollers a dozen. so she dicided to give some to bryce, but bryce didn't want the eggs.also he didnt want to tell her that he didnt want hte eggs. So this went on for about two years when the trash can got full he went outside all sneakie but then juli was stil standing on the front porch .When she saw him she ran to him .Bryce tthrow the trash bag something crack .Juli says what that broken egss.HE says back ya they were crack oh let me take a look said juli she look in the bag the eggs were noy even crack."bryce how could you now i've been loseing hundreds of dollers for you " says juli bryce felt like a jerk even worse he wasn't sure if juli was ever going to forgive him

  Chapter 5 is about bryce throwing away juli's eggs because he is afraid of getting salmonella poisioning because byrce looks to see juli's yard, it is such a mess

  Dear ms.Maybaum,
  I love the book Flipped i can't wait till we find out what happens next! In chapter six Juli is selling eggs to her neighbors and since she likes Bryce sooo much she gives him free eggs for over 2 YEARS!But Byrce and his family thinks the eggs are poisoning (salmonella)because their yard is such a mess. Bryce is throughing away all the eggs with out telling anyone and that is how Juli starts to not like Bryce.I feel so bad for Juli.

  I liked the book flipped a lot.I've never read a book quite like flipped.It seemed like a whole different kind of book than a lot that of books that I have read.Are we going to also read swear to howdy?
