    This is the Blog Spot for Barbara O'Connor's How to Steal a Dog You must read the entire book before you can add a comment here.
     
    A meaningful Blog will include a variety of opinions and a rich discussion of a topic.  This Blog will give students a chance to share their unique views about this year's Bluebonnet books.
     
    Here are some ideas for comments:
     
    • Describe something that happened to make Georgina find or lose hope.
    • Tell about when Georgina's plan starts to fall apart.
    • Describe one funny or surprising thing from How to Steal a Dog.
    • Compare one character from How to Steal a Dog with someone you know. 
    Once several students have shared their own comments, you may want to respond to those comments.  You may respond to your classmates with courtesy.  Make sure to add some sort of additional insight, though.  (Don't just say, "I agree.")

    A meaningful Blog will include a variety of opinions and a rich discussion of a topic.  This Blog will give students a chance to share their unique views about this year's Bluebonnet books.
     
    Here are some ideas for comments:
     
    • The House of Power is the first of a series of books.  Predict what could happen in the next Atherton.
    • Explain the importance of something that is secret or forbidden in The House of Power.
    • Carman uses some vivid description in The House of Power.  What is one thing, person, place, or event Carman describes especially well?  Share some good describing words or paraphrase what Carman says.
    • If you were going to visit one of the three worlds of Atherton, which one would you visit, and why?

    A meaningful Blog will include a variety of opinions and a rich discussion of a topic.  This Blog will give students a chance to share their unique views about this year's Bluebonnet books.
     
    Here are some ideas for comments:
     
    • Do you like Pop?  Why or why not?
    • Could you say this book teaches a big sister or brother about babysitting basics?  Explain.
    • Compare Gee to a kid you know who might be kind of like him.
    • This book has many surprising and exciting parts.  Describe a part of the book that was so interesting that you could not put the book down.
