A tragedy that I would like to prevent is my Grandmother having a stroke and being very sick in the hospital. She rode life flight to the hospital. She has slowed down a lot and is still not driving. This affected my family a at the end of May. Things are starting to get back to normal, but my Grandmother is still having trouble with her speech. The stroke affected the side of the brain that controls speech. Speech therapy has helped her and we continue to help her at home with words she is trying to say. I'm lucky that they live near me and I can continue to help her recover. This is the tragedy I would prevent.
A tragedy i would prevent is racism. Because it affected a ton of people's life styles. I don't think that it is fair that we treated African American's so badly, Just because their skin color was diffrent than ours their souls, hearts, and everything else are the same.
If I could go back in time and prevent a tragedy, I would stop my old principal's son from getting in his car and getting in an accident. He didn'tsurvive, and the whole school had a ceremony in his honor.
If I could have gone back and prevented a tragedy, I would have prevented my Grandmothers rapid Alzheimers progression. She started to develop it in her late 60's. Everyone in my family tried to convince and make her aware of her condition, but nothing worked. Just recently she was admitted into a nursing home. There she gets her proper medicine and care. I just think that I might have been able to help persuade her to take her medicine because she always listened and loved her grandkids. I just wish that she could remember me, but I know it is not her fault.
If i could go back in time I would pervert my dad from being in his car accident.It was relly tough finding out in fact it was the hardest thing ever.
If I could go back in time to provent a tragety I would go back to when my grandpa died. I would rush to the hospital right before it happened. Hey devin I agree with you. You should do that.
I would prevent 9/11, because soo many lives were lost that day.
if i could prevent a tradgedy i would have prevented my grandpa from getting a stroke and being in the hospital for a long time ,he is still in it today. the reason i would want to prevent this is because i dont like it when he is sick or hurting and it would take alot off my grandmas back because drives like 2 hours everyday to go see him!
in my old school in pasadena i was tardy to a major quiz and i failed the quiz and nearly failed that nine weeks
I would prevent the September 11, 2001 disaster because many people were killed and the World Trade Center was destroyed. The world trade center was a major building destroyed by terrorists. That day was a bad day for all Americans.
I would go back in time and prevent 9/11 because it was so sad and a whole lot of people lost ther lives
If I could go back and prevent a tragedy, I would have prevented my family from moving into one of my earlier houses I lived in. It had mold issues that the people didnt speak to us about, and my Mom got really sick and had to go to hospital for 5 days.
If I could prevent a tradegy it would be when my little brother died.
If i could go back in time i would stop the 9/11 airplane crashing into the twin towers. i would do this because my family from new jersey knew people that died in the crash, and i would want to save all the other people that died.
I would go back in time to see...my grandfather before he died in his sleep from a hard attack. Because he died when i was two years old, so i really didnt get to see who he was. When i see the pictures of me and him..he just looks like a stranger....
If i could have gone back in time and prevented a tragedy, i would have prevented my Great Grandma's cancer in her eye. She got surgery, and survived, but recently she has been very sick. We just found out that she has more cancer, but now in her liver and brain. If she has surgery again, she probably wouldn't survive. Since she can't live by herself any more, she has been put in a nursing home, but she doesn't like it. I just hope she'll be okay.
I would like to prevent my friend and my dads friend ''jeff robertson'' from dying because i miss him alot.
I would prevent my mom from having a miscaridge a couple of years ago becausde i would have had another sibling.

I would prevent the Holocaust because so many people died for no reason. Hitler singled out a group of people for their religion. He also hated anyone who was different from what he thought was the perfect race. No one will ever know how great these men, women and children could have been. There could have been a person who cured cancer or some other diease that we are in fear of today.
If I could go back in time I would back to before Hurricane Ike hit. I wish I could warn all the people that stayed behind because they thought the storm wasn't going to be as bad as it was. I would prevent them from making the mistake of risking their life for the storm. No one realized how bad it truly was until after it hit.

i would like to prevent my friend jeff robertson from dying. he died on my dads dirtbike, a painfull death im sure. he is truly missed.
If I could go back in time and prevent a tragedy I would go back to 3rd grade,because I would want to change when Blake King's mom died. i know your thinking well why would she care it wasn't her mom,well...your wrong i do care because Blake's mom was my teacher in 1st grade and I was close to her at the time. And the sad part is that I didn't get to say bye,and I didn't find out about her dying til' the year after. To this day i STILL have the note Mrs.King gave me in 1st grade;the note said how great of a student I was and at the end she wrote "I LOVE YOU,Mrs.King. I miss her so much.
If I could go back in time, I'd go back to the last time I saw my granddaddy before he died, and I could give him one last hug.
