At some point in your life, you are bound to be disappointed.  A person can disappoint you or you may even disappoint yourself.  Many believe that without sorrow, you will never truly understand happiness; without disappointment you will never truly understand what it means to be successful.  What disappointments have you faced?  What did you learn from them?

One disapponitment I faced was that I tried out for a competitive soccer team a couple years ago and got cut. After that I went out and tried out for a team at an even higher level of play and made the team. I realized you just have to keep tyring and you will succeed. Never give up.

One thing I have always been disappointed of is losing a game of basketball, soccerball or anything I didnt achieve in the best way I could. I learn to work harder and drive to do my best, and to do better next time.

one disappointment that i faced was when my mom and dad got divorced,it wasn't easy.i was very young(i dont remember how old i was)but to this day i will never forget all the things that my mom and dad did to each other that made me cry myself to sleep.
it was one step in my life that was to hard for me to face....i wish that they could be together forever but sometimes you just have to let go of the past;move on and be happy.

I feel that disappointment is definitely a part of life. All your successes and failures make you who you are. When you're disappointed you learn why you were let down and become stronger. If you never were disappointed you would not be half the person you are now.

One year in baseball my team was undefeated. We were 18-0. The next year, I wasn't used to losing. When my team first lost, I was unhappy. After I thought about it, I realized that you can't win everything.

As we all know, disappointment is a part of life. Everyone has been dissapointed at least one time. When my parents got divorced I was really shocked, overwhelmed, and I could not believe what was happening. But after some time, my parents found a new husband and a new wife. At that point I realized that everything just might be okay.
From this experience, I have concluded that there are some positive and negative things that come out of a divorce. Now I have two stepbrothers and two stepsisters, and a baby sister on the way. I have so many important people in my life that would not be without my parents getting seperated.
