The proudest moment of my life was being able to stand up to a girl who was bullying me. That girl, who had been my best friend, had suddenly changed and wasn’t acting like the girl I knew. She was acting rudely to me and bullying me. I felt the need to break away, and I found the strength in myself to do so. Because I was able to stand up for myself, it helped form the person I am today: strong, independent, and confident.

The proudest moment of my life was when I recieved a 68 on a worksheet in 3rd grade. This outrageous grade taught me that people make mistakes, and it can affect me severely. I began to work harder and make better use of my free time to study harder and make more efficient notes. I understand now that it pays off to work hard, and we can't suffer the consequences of slacking off. Even if I do poorly on an assignment, I must suck it up (sorry Mrs. Ferro) and move on. It will do me no good to worry about a terrible grade I earned long ago. That was really the year I moved from an A- student to an excelling A+ kid. I still get in a frenzy when I see a number smaller than a 95 on my paper, but by the next class, it's all behind me. Life is good, life is good! So true. We have so little time to make mistakes.

One of the proudest moments of my life was two years ago, in fifth grade. I had won first place in my catagorey in science fair. I was so proud of myself. Then I moved on to the Galveston County Science Fair. I was really nervous because the judges actually had to come aroud and ask you questions about your project. At the very end they announced third place, second, and when they came to calling first place, they called my name. I was so proud being able to stand up there on stage knowing I did my best and this is my reward. The next year I won too, and I hope this year goes the same.

The proudest moment of my life was when I got my black belt. This is the proudest moment of my life because I only joined karate because my sister was in it and if I didn't join I would just have to sit and watch her. There was alot of times that i wanted to just quit and i didn't feel like doing it anymore but I pushed myself to keep going because I knew it would pay of. I am really glad i pushed myself because now i have my blackbelt but just because i have my blackbelt I am not going to stop hopefully one day i will be teaching the younger kids.

I am proud of the fact that I refuse to pretend to be somebody else just because it's "cool". I am fully aware that I'm weird, and I'm proud of it, because that's who I was made to be. I don't mind that people sometimes shy away from me, even though I wish they'd just come right out and say that I'm weird. the god news about this trait is that this way, I don't have to worry about the fact that maybe some of my friends are just in for it because I'm popular, because I am most certainly not. So that's what I'm proud of. Keep Kaitlin weird!

One thing I'm most proud of in my life is getting good grades in all of my classes. I'm proud of this because getting good grades can get me into a good university such as UT. I am planning on going there if I have good enough grades. Also getting good grades can get me to getting a good degree. Also when I get good grades my parents reward me. Like in 6th grade, I had all A's so I got to go to the UT golf camp. Good grades are important in life, and I'm proud to have them.

The proudest moment of my life was whenever I made top band in Friendswood Junior High. Last year in sixth grade we had chair tests to determine which band we were going to be in, in junior high. Before the test I practiced with effort because I really wanted to make top band. On the day of the test I was really nervous and after I finished the test I thought i did horrible. But,when the results were in it turns out I made top band! I was extremely proud of myself. I finally realized that I should always believe in myself no matter what.

The proudest moments in my life are when I accomplish something TO be proud of. I don’t have a “proudest moment” because I think of almost every moment as something to be proud of. For example, getting a high score on a test or helping the environment could make me feel proud. It makes me happy to think that I did a good thing. So, if I achieve something good, just that one deed will be one of my proudest moments of my life.

The proudest moment in my life, was when I swished a three pointer in basketball. Normally I am a back-up and everyone thinks I stink at shooting. It all changed when one day my team was running down the court and I yelled for a pass. For the first time in that season I was passed to. I set up right behind the three point line and shot a fade-away shot because a defender was on me. My teammates screamed at me while this happened because this was not the play we were supposed to be doing. However, as soon as I made the shot, my team and the other teams no longer looked at me as a back-up. Now I was a player.

The proudest moment of my life would probobly be the day that I got the Lady Mustang Award for basketball at a camp in 3rd grade. I remember every day I would try my hardest and I told myself that even though I may not be the best one here I am most certainly one of the people that are trying their hardest. All that work for almost a week finally payed off. The award goes to people that were trying their best and when they gave it to me I just had started basketball and I had thought that they thought I was good!!!SmileSo now 5 years later I am still in basketball and practicing to get even better.

My proudest moment of my life was when I was in the 5th grade. I was in the top one hundred around the world for an essay contest. I wrote an essay on the book, called Sammy Keyes and the Hotel Thief. I wrote about a character that was very rich. I said that I didn’t want to be rich because I didn’t want to be selfish. I like my life today, right now! I knew that I was the top one hundred because I got a letter. I was so shocked when I got that letter when it showed that I was the top one hundred of the essay contest. My reading/language teacher and my parents were so proud of me. My teacher said that I was the first one to be in the top one hundred at Windsong to join at an essay contest. After they realized that, they wanted a picture of me on the newspaper and on the Friendswood website. This moment was when I knew that I could believe in my self, to do well at everything at school, try new things, and make lots of friends. This moment also taught me not to be shy, and rather be confident, to try anything of my comfort zone, and do whatever I can do.

I’m most proud of the effort I put into what I do. Take football for example. I’m not getting the playing time on defense that I think I deserve. But that doesn’t mean I’ve just let it be. I’ve been working harder to get that playing time. I try my very best every time I am at practice. I go to the gym on the weekends to help build up my strength. I keep a positive attitude and try to be a team player. That is why I am proud of my efforts.

My most proud moment is when I pitched a perfect game in baseball last year. A perfect game is when you pitch the entire game, and the opposing team does not ever get on base. While I got the credit for the perfect game as the pitcher, there were only five strikeouts out of eighteen batters. My team supported me in this accomplishment. The following week, I received letters from The University of Texas and the Texas Rangers congratulating me on my perfect game.

I am proud of the accomplishments I have made with my horse. My horse was very scared and spooked easily. I was frightened of him because he is very strong when he is frightened and hard to control. My horse and I have been working together for the past two years. Now, my horse and I trust each other and work as a team.

I am most proud of my good grades. I am a straight A student, and I am proud of it. Good grades will help me get into a good college, get a degree, have a good job, and have a rewarding life. Also, good grades will allow me to do more exta-curricular activities. My parents also are proud of me when I get good grades, and I care about what my parents think of me. I believe that good grades are more important in school than popularity, so I'm very happy to have good grades.

I am most proud of my family because they are so special to me and they always are there for me. I can always count on them to cheer me up and help me through everything. My family is always so amazing, and will always help me through everything no matter if I'm wrong or right. I know that I can always count on them to be at my side. That's why I'm so proud of them.

The proudest moment in my life was when I got commended on my first T.A.K.S. test. This was my proudest moment because I felt like I could do almost anything I put mind to when I found out that I got not just commend on the math T.A.K.S., but I got a one-hundred on it. This was really amazing since I had not been doing so hot in math that year. But a big thanks to Mrs. Sullivan, my third grade teacher, for all the support and help that year to help me make the proudest moment of my life.

I am proud of alot of things in my life, but the thing I am most proud of is all of my figure skating achievements. I started skating when I was six years old, my grandma took me on my sixth birthday and I have been skating ever since. In my seven years of skating I have accomplished many things including, winning eighty-five medals and ten trophies, winning the skater of the year award, and many other amazing things. Out of all of my skating achievements, the one I am most proud of is one that happen this summer. I competed in Colorado Springs in August, I was super excited for the competition because, it was a national event. That ment, what I place here would be my ranking in the nation. But about two weeks before the competiton, I found out I was really sick. So, I rested for about a week and a half, and then headed off to the competiton. I was really nervous, because I had only skated twice since I got sick, but I ended up getting second place. Which ment I was second in the nation! Overall, I am very proud of everything I do in my life.

The proudest moment of my life was last year in sixth grade during awards day. I won two certificates, and "The Principle's Award", which was an award where all the teachers voted on one boy and girl from the school, and the students that won got their names engraved on a plaque. I was so proud of myself and I was not even expecting to win it! Winning "The Principle's Award" was the proudest moment of my life.

“Pride,” I sure do have a lot of it, maybe a little to much! But, no doubt about it, I am most proud of how I exceed in volleyball. When I do a good hit or set, I just want to jump with excitement. I usually do! I am most proud of how I play in volleyball because I have played since a very young age and I used to absolutely hate it, I used to think it would be impossible to hit a ball and get a perfect kill. When I did it for the first time I felt like I was the best player around, I felt unstoppable. Now, I can do it over and over. I am most proud of how I play volleyball because its something that I am very good at, its something I can look forward to getting better at! I guess the main reason that I am most proud of volleyball is because its very fun for me! :)

One of the proudest moments of my life was when I learned that you get what you work for not what you wish for. I learned this a year ago when I scored the winning goal in soccer.

The last game of the season was against the hardest team, whom we tied earlier in the season. If we won this game our team would be undefeated. The other team was also undefeated going into this game.

A couple of days before the last game of the season, my parents took me out to the soccer field so we could practice. I usually play forward, so I practiced my shots on the goal over and over. My parents’ constant reminder kept me focused on this. I practiced goal kicks by kicking hard, aiming high, and shooting from different angles. I knew I would not get many chances to shoot at the goal, so I practiced a lot and thought of some good strategies, such as positioning myself near the goal for a pass.

The final game started, and neither team scored a goal in the first quarter. The second and third quarters were also scoreless. The last quarter of the game, I was put in my normal position of forward. I was calm and stayed in position near the center of the field. Halfway on the other team’s side, the ball rolled from the left to right where I was prepared for a pass. There was a defender and a goalie between me and the goal. A defender charged me from my left side. I kicked a high air ball, which reminded me of all my hard work when I practiced with my parents. The ball went over the defender’s head and headed for the goal. I saw the goalie jump for it, and the ball went behind him and into the goal. We won that final game one to zero.

I was really proud of myself for that winning goal, and I realized that my practiced paid off.

My proudest moment, although I have many others, is whenever I swim. Whenever I'm swimming, somehow, everything just clicks. Every stroke breath, every flip turn. I love it so much and it's always so much fun with my best friends there with me every day. I am so proud to be a swimmer!!! Every time I am racing in a swim meet, I feel so good, and I just love it. My proudest time I ever swam was when I was 9 years old. My aunt, uncle and three cousins had come to visit and the day they were leaving was the day I had a summer league swim meet. My dad left with the family just before my 100 IM. I was really bummed that they weren't going to be able to see it because that was my best race. As I was getting on the starting blocks, I looked around to see if my family was anywhere. And, to my amazement, my aunt, uncle and cousins were standing at the other side of the pool, cheering my name! I was so excited, I ended up making my best time ever by 4 seconds!!!!! I was so excited and so happy that my family could see that race. And, of course, I was so proud of myself for making such a good time. That was my proudest moment ever!!!

The proudest moment in my life is when I recieve a complement. When someone complements me I get a wonderful feeling inside me that nothing else can compare to. But I have to say that the best complement that someone has ever given me was a couple of weeks ago when my best friend told our small group that I was the best friend she has ever had,am always helpful, nice and that I am a great role model. This made me so proud of myself I almost started to cry! I could never thank her enough!

I have been working very hard for a long time to maintain good grades, keeping my behavior in check, doing my chores, and more. Finally, my parents reward me with my very first pet, an adorable hatchling turtle! At last, my good deeds pay off and get me a trophy in the form of a turtle. I am very proud that my determination kept me going so I would not slack. If determination and motivation got me this far, I wonder what I would have to do in order to gain a fluffy puppy.

I'm not completely done with this goal and I don't know if I ever will be, but I am very proud of this. My goal is to help my little brother as much as I possibly can. I know we fight a lot but that's just part of being brothers. I try to teach him right from wrong and tell him to learn from my mistakes. Someday I hope he'll grow up to be smarter, better, and a lot more talented than me. I know he can do it it's just he doesn't really have the confidence in himself that he can yet. This is something that I've been and always will be working on my whole life and in the end I want to be able to say that I've helped my brother reach his full potential.

I have a lot of proud moments in my life, and a lot of things that I have done that I am proud of. If I had to choose one, I would have say it was when I won the "MOST VALUABLE PLAYER AWARD" from my OD football camp(OD stands for offense and defense). I worked so hard for the full week that we stayed at that full-contact, grueling, and even maddening camp. I had no idea that my coaches would come out and say ,"You are the best player" by giving me an award like that. It was even in front of a big crowd so there was a LOUD applause. It was so nerve-wracking and even breathtaking to recieve an award like that and I am so proud of myself for putting forth the hard work and effort in order to get the award.

My very proudest moment was when I shot the winning goal for my basketball team. The score was 30-30 ,they had ball 30sec. left in the game. They took it out and passed to number 45 'my man,I jumped in front of the ball it hit my head, bounced off my head in front of number 99 the worst player on my team.He picked it up and started dribbling out of bounds.19sec.left in the game now.I still remeber coach saying "pass it to Hayden." My friend took it out and passed it as planned I dribbled around a couple of people ,and shot from the three point line . . .I made it!! Game over everyone was hugging me, slapping me,people yelling "HAYDEN,HAYDEN".I was proud of myself. That's my proudest moment.

My proudest moment was when my soccer team won third in the state. We had to work hard and had to dedicate lots of time to practicing. It was hard work, but it payed off. One or two games when we were down in Beaumont there was major thunderstorms and the field was so muddy it was like a slip-n -slide. This was my proudest moment, because of the fun, the knowledge of knowing that very few people experience this, and maybe a little bit of bragging rights. I love soccer and am very proud of ever getting that far.

Maybe next time I might make it even farther.

My most proud moment... I am most proud of myself for being brave, confident, and believing I am beautiful on the inside and out. I never stay down when I'm upset or blue, I always get back up. And I was brave enough to sing in front of the whole class this year, and I was confident throughout the whole time. And I know I am beautiful, no matter what anyone says. I believe in my self, I am proud for this.

Remember, if you are confident, you ARE beautiful!

The thing that I am most proud of in my life is the relationship I have with my Family. Whenever my mom tells us that we are taking an 18 hour family trip she always says that “It will be a great bonding time” we all just roll our eyes, but after a few long family trips I finally realized that she was right, we really did become closer. When kids say how they hate their brother, or that they’re sister is the worst, I just am happy to know that me and my sisters don’t feel that way about each other. In some ways I do appreciate those dreadful trips because if it wasn’t for them, who knows my siblings and I might hate each other too.
