    Hopewell welcomed Dr. Chavez Thrusday night

    Hopewell was pleased to have Dr. Chavez join us at our Fifth Grade parent orientation.  I recently attended a meeting where future growth and overcrowding issues were the topic of discussion, which Dr. Chavez chaired.  As everyone knows, Hopewell has many students on our campus, and it has given rise to some concern about how to accomdate them and maintain an optimum learning environment.  I voiced some of the parental concerns we have had over the months to Dr. Chavez, and he quickly responded by visiting our campus, at my invitation.  I appreciate his quick response and look forward to a continued collaboration with him in the coming years.  I am confident that our district is committed to our success at Hopewell. 
     
    We had over 300 in attendance Thursday night.  It was great to see so many new parents at our Orientation.  A special thanks to all who were a part of making it happen.  Welcome to Hopewell!!
