Students presented their Egypt projects the last two days, and parents and classmates visited to see what we have been doing.  They saw posters, powerpoints, a Photostory movie, plays, a reader's theatre, models, experiments, a movie, poems, word searches, quizzes, and even a live mummification process, as well as an Egyptian Book of the Dead and a new super-hero, Egyptian Man!
Visitors helped evaluate students' presentations, and many listened intently and asked questions, giving students a chance to show how much they have learned about their topics.
During this independent research project, PFLEX students worked on narrowing topics, using different types of resources for research, bibliographies, and basic presentation.  They will be doing more projects throughout the year, increasing the depth and level of their research and products.
