The Kindergarten classes are really "finding their voices" and enjoying the singing 
experience!  We are beginning new songs now, many of which compliment the reading 
curriculum in their classrooms.  We will be singing songs with rhyming and counting 
syllables.  The students have begun an exciting new curriculum, rhythm band.  This is 
always a popular activity because everyone gets their own instrument to play in class.  We  
began reading symbols for musical sounds and play together!

I am very proud of the Kindergarten Students.  They came to the auditorium and were a 
wonderful audience for our Winter Program Dress Rehearsal.  I have seen many audiences 
in my life, and they were so polite and quiet.  It was a pleasure having them at our 
rehearsal and it helped the 1st and 2nd grade performers to have the Kindergarten 
students in the audience.
