About The Teacher

Mr. Mander is first generation American.  Both of Mr. Mander's parents 
emigrated from Europe in the 1950's.  Mr. Mander was born and raised in 
the San Francisco Bay area of California.

Mr. Mander attended Elementary and Junior High School in California and High 
School in Sweden.

Mr. Mander has an AS degree in General Electronics from Laney College.
He also has a BS degree in Geology and a California Teaching Credintial in 
GeoScience from Sonoma State university.

Mr. Mander Lives in Petaluma and has 2 son's, Erik and Ryan.

Mr. Mander has been teaching at Casa Grande since 1998.  All of Mr. Mander's 
programs are taught in room E8, Casa Grande High School.

Mission For The Class

The mission for the science and technology courses is to challenge 
the students while providing them with material that is easy to understand.

In an atmosphere that is both safe and fun, respect and ethical behavior is 
taught to all the students enrolled.  

Mr. Mander models the behavior of a responsible and honorable citizen in our 
modern American democratic society.
