The end of the first trimester is November 20. Remember that this is the date when all grades will
officially close so that report cards can be issued. You have about three weeks before the end of the
trimester. If you are struggling with your classes for any reason, NOW is the time to talk to your
teachers.
A note to students who are absent:
I suggest that students pair up with a "study buddy". Students should exchange phone numbers or
email addresses with a fellow student in class in case of absence. I will of course continue to
respond to homework requests, but a classmate might be able to answer your questions sooner!
If you are absent on a day when we are reading in the Language Arts textbook, you may need to
make arrangements to check out a copy of the textbook from our school library. To check out a
textbook, contact our librarian, Mrs. Wolff.
Grades are now available for parents and students to view online. Please contact Mrs. Mamuyac in
the office if you need technical support or have trouble logging on. Please allow plenty of
time for essays, tests, book reports, etc. to be scored and updated in the online gradebook.
