1. Finish making your CPR project flash cards for your oral report. (6 cards, maximum; 4-5 bullet points per card face; all sides numbered; name/class on 1st card; Card 1: bullet one = Culture + Topic + Title [see CPR Report Outline sheet from class]; bullet two: 1 complete sentence which is your main idea/thesis for oral report (see same sheet); all other bullet points on each card will be for the sub-topic titles and details that support your thesis. The last few bullet points will be forfun facts and your CONCLUSION (why you chose topic, what you hope class learned about culture as it applies to your topic, what worked or not, what you'd recommend). If you can't finish, get a parent-signed note. Bring ALL CPR research, notecards and photos to class next session.

1. Finish your oral report note cards (read full description above)
2. Finish your photo backings (glue colored frame and backing/URL on back of backing/ name & class on back also). We will have a very short time in class to wrap up photo process
3. Keep working on your project itself.

1. Print out the 2 pages of the SCRIPT 2 PARLONS sheet from French Handouts. Of the 4 sheets that appear, print only the 1st and 3rd. (the 2nd is blank and the 4th you don't need). Staple them and bring to class

1. Do CPR research #3 on new paper and staple it to yesterday's library sheet. RESEARCH DETAILS: don't bring in research you have already given me on pink CPR Pre-Planning Sheet OR the Who? What? When? research paper. The research tonight will be to find whatever you are missing AND whatever fun facts you can find out about your project. (i.e.: if you are doing the Eiffel Tower: People have parachuted off the tower and others have carried their mountain bikes up to the top and ridden down the long, winding stairs.)

1. Finish the Clock # 2 worksheet we started in class today. Use your at-home numbers reference sheet so you spell numbers correctly in the time sentences.

1. Choose your CPR project topic and write the info on your CPR sheet. Write your partner's name if you plan on working in a pair.
2. Write an alternate choice in case you don't get your first choice.

1. Type or write a list of the question words What? Who? Where? When? and Why? and add several bullet point answers per question. Each bullet point will be a possible answer to the question about your report (What is the Eiffel Tower? What was the original use for the tower? What were the building materials? What did the public think about the tower at first? What was general opinion later? , etc; these are only questions you might ask, but what you write are the answers to those questions)

1. Go to French Handouts and print 2 copies of the Numbers sheet. If you have a 3-hole punch, do this at home.
2. Study numbers 30-60. Bring one sheet back to class for your French binder and leave the other at home in your French Home folder for reference.
JOUR 2 (day 2): mardi, le 22 septembre (Bananes 2/ Myrtilles 4)
1. Complete both sides of the TIME worksheet handed out in class today. (If you were absent, get the sheet when you return and I'll need to explain how it works). Make sure every clock on both sides of the sheet have the hands of the clock, the digital time on the small line and the French sentence for the time on the larger line. Use your NUMBERS handout from your home folder to spell the time correctly.

1. Bring home your green Parlons Reference packet and the ivory Parlons Vocabulary Sheet to finish writing vocab/questions from the ivory to the green. Memorize the vocabulary you put a star next to (the 10 words/phrases or questions you think you'll need to know first to stay in French in a conversation)
2. Bring your packet back to class next session.

If you don't have your green reference packet or your ivory Parlons Vocabulary Sheet at home with you, you can
print the them from French handouts: Parlons Vocabulary Sheet (ivory sheet) and Parlons Reference Sheet (green: 2 blank sheets to add Parlons vocab--print 4 total)

1. Take home ivory Parlons Vocabulary Sheet. If you don't have your ivory Parlons Vocabulary Sheet at home with you, you can print it from French handouts: Parlons Vocabulary Sheet (ivory sheet)
2. On a separate piece of paper, write your ten words 5 times each (you put a star next to the ten words you need to learn most). Write the English translation once. Write anything I may have put in parentheses once. Make sure you label your paper correctly. (LAST NAME, First name, Classe, Date). For the title, write the following: PARLONS FRANÇAIS: Répétitions.
3. Keep your ivory Parlons Vocab Sheet at home as a reference through the year and bring your repetitions back to class.

1. Go to French Handouts on my teacher website. Print out Vocabulaire- Salutations (etc.). Staple the two sheets together and study them for 10 minutes. Bring them to class.
2. REMINDER: bring in what French binder materials you did not have last week to make up some lost points. Show them to me at lunch or after school.

1. Write all vocabulary* that you have highlighted and don't know on yellow Personal Vocabulary packet.
Write the English translations also. Bring both packets to class.

2. When you are done, study your Personal Vocabulary packet .
3. As you run out of room on your Personal vocabulary packet, you can print out more from my French Handouts section: "Personal Vocabulary Sheet" (2 pages)

1. Go to French Links on my teacher website and click on French Pronunciation Practice (last entry). Practice "French Alphabet" 5 times (Listen the first few times, then repeat with the speaker the last few times. Then practice individual letters you need to know better.
2. Print out the homepage for the French Pronunciation Practice and bring to class to get credit for homework. If you can't print, then have your parent sign and date a note that says you studied the alphabet online.
JOUR 2 (day 2): mardi, le premier septembre (Bananes 2/ Myrtilles 4)
1. Go to French Links on my teacher wesiteand click on MORE French Pronunciation Practice (NEW last entry). In left-hand box, click on Vowels I, practice all, then Vowels II, then skip to Consonants and do all. Print out the last page of the Consonants page to bring to class.
2. REMINDER: your labeled and organized binder is due in class Friday, Sept. 4.

1. Go the the French Handouts page of my teacher website and print out the Supply List. If that doesn't work, try a different browser (if you're in Safari, try Firefox, then go to my website and print the list).
2. Get all supplies and follow directions on the second half of the supply list to prepare and organize your class binder. Keep them at home until next week. They will be due in class Friday, Sept. 4.
