What happens if I am absent?

When you return from your absence, check the classroom planner to 
see what you missed.  If you missed an activity, check with the teacher 
to arrange a time to perform a makeup (usually at lunch).  Be sure to get 
copies of any papers that were distributed!

Do you accept late work?

You will be asked to come at lunch to complete a homework assignment if you do
not have your homework ready at the beginning of class.  If we've gone over
the homework in class, you will be asked to do a different makeup assignment.

If you turn in work late, there will be a 30% penalty.

What if I don't do well on a test or quiz?

There will be other quizzes and you will get to drop a quiz grade each 
grading period.  

Tests:  If you have completed all the homework which supports a unit, 
and if you have reviewed the first test with your teacher (Mrs. G.) at lunch
or after 
school you may arrange to take a MAKEUP exam at lunch or after 
school.  NO makeups will be allowed without proper preparation and a 
conversation! You must see Mrs. G. within ONE WEEK of getting the test back.
