La casa poster and final sentences due on Thursday.
La casa project (Group or individual)
Design a furnished house for sale. It must have a minimum of 6 rooms (cuartos)
and each room should be furnished with a minimum of two items. The more
details (vocabulary) you use, the better your grade will be. You may either
draw or clip pictures (magazine or internet) to decorate you house. Each room
must be labeled in Spanish. If you are working in a group of 3 people, your
house must have 9 rooms and each person is required to decorate 3 rooms. Every
student,regardless of the group size,needs to write a minimum of 8 sentences
describing your house. You will be graded on correct verb conjugation
,spelling and sentences structure. You may choose to work on your own ,if you
prefer. Refer to the text page 278 for more details/ideas.This project is
worth a test grade.
7th Grade:
Complete workbook pages 23 and 24 for tomorrow.Also, hand in your Horario de
clases to me if you didn't do so today.
8th Grade: Chapter 8 exam tomorrow. Review your textbook, class notes,and
homework assignments that were returned to you today. Know how to conjugate
the verbs Hacer, Vivir, Preferir, and Tener que and use them in a sentence.
Also know your vocabulary from the Chapter. Continue to work on your La casa
projects. In addition to the poster/diagram of the house, you must also write
8 Descriptive Sentences. Make sure at least 3 of them describe a chore that
you have to do in a particular room in the house. All sentences and posters
are due Thursday.
