| Local scholarshiP workshops will be presented to students and parents
beginning in
January, 2007 for the graduating class of 2007. STUDENTS MUST ATTEND A
SEMINAR TO OBTAIN GUIDELINES ND A LIST OF AVAILABLE SCHOLARSHIPS. NO STUDENT
WILL BE ALLOWED TO APPLY FOR LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS WITHOUT ATTENDING A
WORKSHOP. Most scholarships are due April 18 2007, with a few deadlines
before that.
The graduating class of 2006 recieved approximately $136,000 in local
scholarships.
Most local scholarship applications can be downloaded from the Steamboat
Springs High School website (www.sshs.k12.co.us) under counseling center,
then financial aid.
MOST LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS ARE DUE ON APRIL 18, 2007
