| In third grade, homework is given every day Monday-Thursday. Homework is
never given as a brand new concept, as it is always a reinforcement of
concepts the students have already learned. Each day the students record
what their homework is in their agendas and then place their homework in
their "take home" folders. Please support your children with their homework
byassuring that they have a quiet place to complete this work.
Students will now also be expected to complete their reading logs each week.
This requires them to read at least 60 minutes each week. Reading logs must
be handed in on Fridays. Please remember to sign your child's reading log
every night! It is your child's responsibility to ask you to sign it and to
hand in their homework every day.
