At the moment we are utilizing Cast-A-Spell which focuses on having students utilize proven strategies in connection with phonemic awareness to learn how to spell.  We will continue to utilize this throughout the year, but in January will begin to focus more heavily on the Sitton Spelling Program which addresses application of spelling skills in the context of writing and focuses on "spelling for a lifetime."  More information about the Sitton program will go home to you in January.
