The 6th grade students have "flown" to Spain and discovered that there are
many landforms to be found in Spain. They have learned these words both in
English and Spanish. Photo cards with names and an activity packet has been
given in class. Those students who did not finish the packet in 2 class
periods will need to complete the packet to improve the grade.

Students have visited Madrid and the regions of Extremadura, Murcia, and
Castilla de la Mancha. We have talked about art and Spanish artists as well as
the story of Don Quixote, which they are hearing now.
We are having an assessment this week (10/14 to 10/16) to see what material
students remember from last year. This will guide us to future lesson of
review as well new material.
