About The Teacher

Ms. Stewart's humble beginnings were right here in Durham.  As a youngster, 
she was lucky enough to attend Brewster Elementary School (yes, it existed 
way back then:)  Upon graduating from C.R.H.S. she attended an almost-
prestigious institution of higher learning. After college, she married and 
traveled the globe (well, North and South America anyway.)  With a yearning 
for home, she finally returned to Connecticut to provide her two boys with 
the same wonderful opportunities she had.  Currently she's beginning her 7th 
year of teaching fabulous first graders at the very same school she 
attended.  Her hope is that her students come away with a wonderful 
education and unforgettable memories.
