Dear Families,
Spring is in the air! I love the smell of spring. I hope you do too! This
time of year we participate in fun fieldtrips! We'll be experimenting at
the Stepping Stones Museum, observing at the Maritime Center and exploring
at Cove Island Beach.
I hope everyone is practicing his or her letter sounds! Now we will begin
learning our sight words. These are the words most found in our reading.
Please take the time to read and review the mini-books with your child. You
can even keep the books in a special place. Use them whenever you have a
few extra spare moments.
This time of year is very exciting! The children are growing so much! I
can't believe it! Soon, they'll be ready for 1st grade!
