| The 2008-2009 school year is upon us. Students have been assigned to teams
and students will receive their schedules on the first day of school
(Tuesday, September 2). Sixth grade students are asked to report to the
auditorium in the morning of the first day of school. Seventh and Eighth
grade students are asked to report to their assigned homeroom that was
listed at the top of the team letter that was mailed home at the beginning
of August.
All Vernon 5th grade students during the 2008-2009 school year will be
invited to the middle school for an orientation program in May 2009.
Individual elementary school visitations will be arranged for each school so
that students and their teachers can visit VCMS during the school day
morning and eat lunch at the middle school.
Open House for parents and guardians of current 5th grade students will be
held at VCMS on a Thursday during the month of May.
