PTA is working to make Cypress Woods a wonderful place to Teach it! Learn it! Live it!
We look forward to serving our children, parents and teachers/staff throughout the
summer to make the 2008/09 school year great! Have a safe and happy summer!
1)Our school start/end times for the 2008/09 school year will remain unchanged at
8:40am-2:40pm. The pinellas county school board approved elementary start times as expected.
2) PTA is having a contest over the summer. Special prizes will be given to the top 20 students
who bring back the most:
Campbell Soup labels
Box Top Labels
Tyson Food Labels
The 411 on Tyson Food Labels:
Qualified TysonŽ Products: In your grocer's freezer section, look for Tyson Products that
display the Project A+ logo. The label you save is easily identified by looking for the simple
1, 2, 3 program steps. Each label is worth 24˘ cash! Please save your labels as you would for
Box Tops and Campbell Soup labels!!
3)Help your Child. Get involved with the CWE PTA!
More than 30 years of research has proven that children do better when their parents are
involved both at home and in school. Grades are higher. Test scores rise. Self-esteem grows.
Schools improve. PTA is in need of committee members for the 2008/09 school year!! Get
involved....join a committee this year. Contact Maria Zopf @781-0086.
