Help your Child. Volunteer with CWE PTA.

There are powerful outcomes that occur from your active involvement in your child’s school. You know the benefits and want to make a difference, but how can you be more involved? It’s simple-
 
Volunteer with the CWE PTA!

Our volunteers allow us to do so many things for our students that we could not do without your help.  PTA needs volunteers to continue the programs & activities they bring to CWE (see "What We Do"). Many PTA positions do not require much time and have flexible schedules; some can even be done at home! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact any PTA executive board member (see "Who We Are"). 



Whether it's 1 hour or 100 hours, every second counts.
 
 
 
All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Registration Form to be eligible to volunteer in a Pinellas County school.  This is for the safety of our children.  Please forward the completed form with a photocopy of your drivers licence to your child's teacher, or bring it into the front office.



AVAILABLE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:

  • We are looking for Committee members in all areas to join us for the 2009/10 school year. To see Board Member/committee position descriptions, click HERE! We always welcome new members to the PTA board! Come and support your school and have fun doing it!

ARE YOU REMEMBERING TO LOG YOUR HOURS?

Are you logging in your volunteer hours? It's so easy so please remember to do it every time you volunteer at CWE! If you are volunteering for the first time ever, please see the office staff for background check form to get started. If you have volunteered in the past you need to check in on the volunteer computer right outside the school office in the lobby. It will ask you some questions, submit your information and then you are ready to go! Every time you come in to volunteer log your hours on this computer. Remember, our volunteer hours are part of what makes Cypress Woods a five star school so we want to keep that rating. If you have any problems at all with the volunteer computer, please see Susan Monistere in the school office. Thanks for all our volunteers!
