SUMMER READING BRINGS SUMMER FUN!

 

Summer reading will provide you with the opportunity to experience people, places, ideas, and language and to discover them at your leisure. You can enter wholeheartedly into the life of another person, adult or adolescent, rich or poor, near or distant.

 

All students will be required to select two (2) books from the list below. After reading it select two (2) different book sharing activities, one for each book,

to be presented the first Friday when we return to school.

BOOK SHARING ACTIVITIES

 

1. Think of a symbol that stands for the main idea or theme of your book.  Explain the connection in a paragraph and design the symbol.

 

2. This book made me _________

**  Pick four of the above and write one (1) paragraph on each. **

 

3. Create a cartoon of at least 12 – 15 main events or ideas from the book.
