Students of the Week for:
When your child is student of the week, each day of the week will consist of a
special activity to honor him or her.
Monday - Sharing Day- Your student will be given a poster to
create about himself one week in advance of his sharing day. Please help your
student to decorate and fill out his poster. On Monday of his week, your
student will share his poster and 3 special items of his choice with the
class. Try to choose items to share with the class that have special meaning,
not just a collection of toys. All items will be returned home on Monday
afternoon. Posters will remain in the classroom unitl the end of the week. Any
photos placed on your student's poster will return home on his or her poster.
Tuesday- Favorite Book Day - Your student will bring his or her
favorite book to read to the class or have the teacher read to the class.
Wednesday- Parent Letter Day - Parents will have an opportunity
to send a sealed letter for the teacher to read to the class telling about
your student's special qualtities, traits, or hobbies. Any funny stories or
special memories included will make this letter more special. The content of
this letter is up to you!!
Thursday- Lunch Buddy Day - Your child will have the opportunity
to eat lunch at the guest table with a classmate or special guest. You are
more than welcome to come and have lunch with your child on his special lunch
day. Our scheduled lunch time is 11:30- 12:00. You may switch your special
lunch day to any day of your child's special week, just let me know by note or
email please.
Friday- Special Friends Day - Your student will be presented
with a special poster created by his or her classmates. The poster will be
sent home along with his Student of the Week poster on Friday afternoon.
