YELLOW TEAM

Dylan, Danique, Tianna and Jordan 
are reading "The Secret of Kiribu 
Tapu Lagoon." Jordan said the 
beginning was boring but it's 
getting better since we met the 
dolphin. The team is getting 
ready to finish the last chapter, 
review the book and take an AR 
test. It's time to move on to the 
next adventure.

RED TEAM

Nicholas, Maurice Amaris and 
Ebony are reading "The Shady 
Deal," a selection of short 
stories from around the world. 
They are ready to complete the 
book and choose a different 
chapter book.

GREEN TEAM

Cameron, Alison, Jacorey, Sydnie, 
Xavier and Cha'Quajia are 
exploring the world of Narnia 
in "The Lion, The Witch and the 
Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis. This 
group is really into this story. 
We're almost half way through it 
now.

BLUE TEAM

Brenetta, Gabrielle, Christopher 
and Darius are reading "Gray 
Wolf." So far, we just know it's 
about a mother wolf protecting 
her cubs. This group is finishing 
up this book and creating a 
wonderful list of adjectives to 
add to our vocabulary wall.

ORANGE TEAM

Noelani, Aaliyah, Rickey and 
Rodney are reading "Timedetctors" 
by Darrel and SAlly Odgers. THis 
group has completed the book and 
taken an AR test. Now they are 
preparing for the fist book 
presentation. Each team will 
present their favorite book to 
the class, as a way to share our 
book club experiences.

PINK TEAM

Jiah, Chastity, KaPatrick and 
David are reading "The Wind in 
the Willows."  They are beginning 
to get into the story, although 
it's moving a little slow. They 
are currently working on 
collecting vivid adjectives as 
they read.
