I take a group of students to Europe every year. Many top colleges look
favorably at students who have traveled abroad. This is supposedly a good
indication of a student's desire to learn. During Spring Break 2008,
Mr. Moon, Mrs. Thorson, Coach McCalla and I led a group of 34 people to
northern Italy, Nice, France; and Barcelona, Spain.
Over the winter break, I am currently working on another tour to London. We
will visit Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower of
London, Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Harrod's Department Store, and
much more. We will also attend an evening performance of a play performed
in London's West End. With the city decorated with lights, London is a
magical time to visit during the Christmas holidays.
In addition to offering this opportunity to students, parents are also
