| The motto of Sarah Smith Elementary School is "Anchored In Excellence". We
are committed to excellence for all students and continue to strive for
greater heights. It is important to share with parents the various aspects
of our school and its instructional programs. Meetings have been designed
to do this. These meetings are referred to as "Anchor Meetings". If you
want to know more about the programs and activities offered at Sarah Smith
or need more information or clarification on something going on at school,
plan to attend.
The 2008-2009 Anchor Meeting are scheduled this year in conjunction with the
PTA meetings. The combined meetings will save time and provide valuable
information from the PTA and the school. Topics may
include "gifted program", "school safety", "test scores", "IB", "our writing
program", and a variety of curriculum presentations. Check the PTA meeting
dates for the Anchor Meeting schedule.
