Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday as a reinforcement of the
skills taught in the classroom. Students benefit from practice, which helps
them strengthen academic skills as well as facilitating learning to accept
responsibility.
1. Reading – Students should read a minimum of 20 minutes each night
(Monday-Thursday) and record the book (s) or chapters on their reading
logs. The reading logs will be collected monthly.
2. Math – homework assignments will be given each night (Monday-
Thursday).
3. Students will complete a book report or activity monthly to
reinforce reading and / or research skills. Please allow your child to
complete these projects independently.
4. Incomplete class work may be assigned as homework.
5. Other assignments will be given when skill reinforcement is
necessary.
