Dear Parents,
We did it! We made it through another year of school, and now we’re Second
Graders! This was a great last week of school! Thursday we had our class
party! We had so much fun!! Thank you to all those parents who helped out at
the class party. It wouldn’t have been such a success without you! A special
thank you also to Mrs. Maggard and Mrs. Gould for all their hard work they
put in to make sure the party was a success! I put pictures of the party on
the website, so check them out!!
I have been so lucky to come into this class with such smart and delightful
children. Thank you also for the wonderful gifts I have received this week.
You have all made me feel so special. I will miss all their smiling faces but
I am left with fantastic memories!
On an educational note, there is a wonderful activity book, Summerbridge
Activities, (http://www.summerbridgeactivities.com/ ) that you can find at
School Box, Lakeshore, or any other educational store. This book is great for
reviewing everything we learned in first grade, and getting them ready for
second grade! Be sure that you get the book that is for grades 1-2.
