home to school connection. I would like to thank our Timber Ridge
Foundation for making this website possible!
*Note the additional links on our class page to help sharpen those
addition and subraction facts! These are printable pages. Simply select
your child's area of weakness and it will create practice tests for you. We
begin the year working on our facts to 10, then moving to 12 and by year end
we will cover facts to 18. Please help to build confidence by practicing
facts every night for 10 minutes.

*Please use our site often. There will be a variety of great links for our
first grade curriculum. There will be activities that are easy for your
child, as well as challenging activities for your child.
*Thank you for remembering to read with your child a minimum of 100 minutes
each week (or 20 minutes 5 days each week). Please record the time each
night that you read. The "Reading Log" folders are turned in at the end of
each month and reviewed by the teacher.
