*Please welcome our new E.I.P. teacher Lauren Burhans! She will be with us
everday from 9:00-1:00.
*Mark your calendars: All of our Kindergarten classes will participate in a
Thanksgiving Feast on November 20th from 9:00-9:45. I will need 4 parent
volunteers for this event. Please contact me if you would like to be a
volunteer for this event. I will pull names out of a hat to be fair.
*Our class will be dressing up as Native Americans for the Thanksgiving
Feast. I will buy the t-shirts, but I am asking for a $2.00 donation to cover
the cost of your child's t-shirt. Please send in $2.00 in an envelope
maked "t-shirt money". If you are unable to donate $2.00 for your child's t-
shirt please let me know.
*HELP! I am looking for a parent volunteer who is interested in helping with
our Native American costumes (for the Thanksgiving Feast). We will need to
have 23 t-shirts dyed, and fringed. If this is something you are interested
in doing or helping out with, please let me know!
*Please look in your child's orange folder on Monday for a notice about
Native American names. Talk with your child, and help them pick out their
very own Native American name. Let's see your creativty!! Please send the
slip of paper back with your child's Native American name filled in as soon
as possible.
*As you make plans for Thanksgiving, remember we have no school the week of
November the 23rd. Enjoy your week off, watch football, and eat lots of
turkey! :)
