*Thanks to the Friedman Family for joining our class on Wednesday. We all
really enjoyed learning about Latkes (potato pancakes), gelt (chocolate
coins), and the Dreidel game!

*Thanks to our Holiday Centers Celebration helpers on Thursday- Shelly
McClain, Tara Kinard, Kathy Turner, and Jill Hubbard. Also, thanks to Susan
DeStefano for baking our cookies.
*HUGE THANKS to our wonderful class for the Holiday gifts. You all are so
generous and we are grateful for such a terrific group of students and
parents!
*We did not go to the media center this week, but we will go the first week
back from the break.
*All "non-vinyl" rest mats were sent home today. Please wash and return on
Tuesday, January 5th.
*In January we will be making some changes to our daily schedule. Now that we
have Ms. Burhans with us from 9:00-1:00, we are more flexible with our
schedule. Also, our current early recess time is pretty cold, so we will be
making it a little later in the day. Please be aware of how our scehdule
change will affect our centers time. The changes are as follows:
Calendar 9:00-9:30
Snack 9:30-9:45
Shared Reading 9:45-10:00
*Table Centers 10:00-10:40(ish)
Guided Reading 10:40-11:00
Recess 11:00-11:30
Writing 11:30-12:00
*The cafeteria is going green in more ways than one! The December lunch menu
will be the last menu that we’ll be copying and sending home with students.
You can find our monthly menu on the Tritt website and a small quantity will
be available in the forms tree near the front office.
*Please send your Media Center book back to school on Mondays.
