Hey Tritt Families!
I am so excited to start this 2009-2010 school year, and I especially can't
wait to meet all my new students and families! I look forward to getting to
know my new students, and I thought you all might like to know a little about
me.
I moved down to Georgia about 11 years ago. I lived in East Cobb and I even
went to Pope. After High School I went to Georgia State University, and
started in the education program. During my two years in the education
program I interned at six different schools in the Metro-Atlanta area, which
gave me the opportunity to see a variety of schools, and gain experience from
different educational settings. After I completed my internships, I began my
student teaching in 2nd grade right here at Tritt. I graduated in December of
2006, substituted consistently at Tritt, and then spent the last three months
of the school year supply teaching in a Kindergarten classroom. This school
year will be my third official year as a teacher, but it will be my fourth
year at Tritt (including my student teaching, subbing, and supply teaching).
I have been working with Indie Smith ever since I began the supply job in
Kindergarten. We love working together, and we are both excited to start
another year together!
I spent all 4 years at GSU as the starting goalkeeper for the Women's
Division 1 soccer team. I am now "retired" from soccer, but still have a
place for sports in my heart. I love mountain biking, hiking, camping, and
being outside! I spent a few summers working as a counselor and a Unit Head
at the Chattahoochee Nature Center's Camp Kingfisher. I love introducing
nature to children, and hope to bring some of those ideas into the classroom.
Can't wait to meet you all, and get our year started!
See you soon,
Ms. Pasquarelli
