Yes, if they would like to perform with the 'Lil Chili Peppers team. The shirts usually are under $9 dollars and can be used each year your student is on the jump team. The Red Hot Peppers demonstration team uniform is paid for by the American Heart Association.
If you know ahead of time, please email Mrs. Lucas from the jump web site. I need a note from the parents letting me know why your jumper missed practice or I count it as a miss. If they are sick from school, I do not need a note. Demo team members must come on another night that week to make up for the practice they missed. They need to attend two practices a week.
They are not able to travel if: 1. Jumper has a grade below a "C" in any subject area. 2. Jumper does not have their homework up to date. 3. Jumper does not turn in the homework for the time they were gone from school the next time they have that teacher in class. This is usually the next day. 4. Jumper is gone from school the day before we travel because they were sick. If your jumper is sick enough to stay home from school, they will not have the energy it takes to jump with the team the next day. I ask that jumper to stay home and they will have the opportunity to travel with the team on the next trip.
