meets once each week during the Thursday 'X' block activity period. The purpose of this club is to learn both small group jazz combo music and big band jazz, rock and blues music. The Jazz Band Club will perform for various events/locations(area Superintendent's Meeting/luncheon, Senior Citizens Center, Smart Run, etc.).
The best way to be involved in the jazz band is to sign up for the JAZZ BAND CLUB which meets every Thursday during the 'x' block activity. If you are unable to sign up for the club activity period but you would still like to play in the jazz band we will be having afterschool and evening rehearsals to accomodate you and your schedule.
We are especially in need of trumpets and trombones to fill out our instrumentation for this group.
