SPRING BAND TRIP 2009

Our Spring Band Trip for 2009 will take us, once again, to the Great East Festival. The Great East Festival is a regional fetival with bands, orchestras and choruses coming from the northeast states to two different locations(Six Flags New England and Canopie Lake). Each location has many sites where musical groups perform for a rating. The Six Flags location alone has at least 10 different schools and colleges that host the competition in theri auditoriums.

We will be one of thousands of groups that will be participating during the months of May and June.

I will be preparing, during the upcoming year, to make plans for our next big band trip for the spring of 2010. Our last trip in 2007 in Hershey, PA was highly successful and a lot of fun. If any parent would like to help in the plans, please give me a call.
