Is it really possible the first quarter of school has passed us by? My goodness we have been busy!
Thank you to all the parents that helped put together a festive and fun Halloween Party. The kids had a
wonderful time building scarecrows, wrapping mummies, pinning eyes on ghosts, and eating ice cream.
On Monday, November 9th from 7-8:30 pm we will be hosting a Poetry Cafe. The students will be
presenting their poems from working with the Poet-in-Residence. We hope you can come out for an
evening of poetry.
Parent/teacher conferences have been scheduled with homeroom teachers. If you have any specific
questions or topics you'd like to discuss please email your student's homeroom teacher prior to your
conference. Also, the conference schedule is very tight. Please arrive a few minutes early so that we
can all stick to the schedule. Thanks for your cooperation.
