return after the blizzard of '09. Remember, 2 minutes, no notes and all in
Spanish.
12/24/09; Since we will now return from the blizzard of '09 in 2010, we will
have the classroom session on your "noticias" then. -HW#223-Meanwhile, read
the story "Un Cuadro Mejor Vendido" and write an answer to all the questions
at the end. Be sure to employ the reading strategies I have given you and
keep all your notes for filing later in your Reading Journal.
I still have both your Reading and Writing Journals. My plan, before the
blizzard of '09, was to return them to you along with annotated Articulos 1-
4 and have you work on editing these over the break and review your mistakes
before turning in any further Articulos. Now, we'll just have to process
this material in January 2010. The result of this effort should be improved
writing and content for your future Articulos.
During the break, be sure that you memorize the grammar and conjugations in
our current chapter 5, review the vocabulary too. We'll reschdule that
chapter 5 exam when we return. If you are still weak in conjugating, LEARN
ITNOW. Come back in 2010 with conjugations that you can use in
conversations, reading and writing. Pay attention to irregulars, stem
changes and pronoun placement too.
Enjoy your break, especially those extra days as we will now be going to
school almost into July!!!
