This year marks Mrs. Velencia's eleventh year in the Howard County Public
School System. She is excited to work with eighth graders as they take
their last steps as middle school students and prepare to transition to high
school. Mrs. Velencia lives in Howard County with her husband and youngest
son who attends Atholton High School. She has another son and one daughter,
both in college. Mrs. Velencia has a pug named Liu-Liu and likes to walk for
exercise.
